Abstract

루프형 랜(Local Area Network; LAN)의 버스와 단말장치와의 접속을 허용하는 확장기(EXPANDER) 혹은 허브(HUB;집중기)에 적합한 접속장치가 개시된다.
본 발명에 따른 접속장치는 그의 접접들 중에서 전원을 제공하는 접점들이 여타의 신호접점들 보다 돌출되어져 있음을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명에 따른 접속장치는 어댑터보드가 버스의 콘넥터에 삽입될 경우에는 전원을 제공하는 접점들이 여타의 신호접점들보다 먼저 접속되게 하며 이탈될 경우에는 나중에 분리되게 함으로써 시스템의 유지보수를 안정화시키는 장점을 갖는다.

제1도는 본 발명의 접속장치가 적용된 허브의 구성을 보이는 도면이다.
제2도는 본 발명에 따른 접속장치의 바람직한 실시예를 도시한 도면이다.
제3도는 제2도에 도시된 어댑터보드에 설치된 적분회로를 보이는 도면이다.
제4a도 및 제4b도는 제1도에 도시된 장치의 경로구성을 보이는 도면이다.

Claims (4)

  1. 버스에의 연결을 허용하는 컨넥터와 상기 컨넥터에 삽입되어져 상기 버스에 연결되는 단말장치와의 전기적 접속을 달성하는 플럭을 갖는 어댑터보드를 구비하는 랜의 접속장치에 있어서, 상기 컨넥터의 접점들 중에서 전원을 제공하는 접점들은 여타의 신호접점들 보다 돌출되어져, 상기 어댑터보드가 상기 버스의 콘넥터에 삽입될 경우에는 상기 전원을 제공하는 접점들이 여타의 신호접점들보다 먼저 접속되게 하며 이탈될 경우에는 나중에 분리되게 함을 특징으로 하는 접속장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전원을 제공하는 접점들 중에서 접지전원을 제공하는 접점은 여타의 전원을 공급하는 접점들보다 더 돌출됨을 특징으로 하는 접속장치.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 단말장치에 제공되는 전원을 일정시간 지연시키는 지연수단을 더 구비함을 특징으로 하는 접속장치.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 콘넥터는 플러그가 삽입되지 않은 상태에서는 신호접점의 양측이 도통상태를 유지하는 S-DIN 형의 콘넥터임을 특징으로 하는 접속장치.
