Abstract

본 발명은 광픽업의 포커스에러 검출방법 및 그 장치에 관한 것으로서, 광량의 극소화시킬 수 있는 광픽업의 포커스에러 검출방법 및 그 장치를 제공한다. 본 발명은, 광기록 매체로부터 반사된 광빔으로 부터 각각 포커스 에러신호를 검출하는 제1, 제2검출소자와, 상기 광기록매체로부터 반사되는 광빔의 광축에 대하여 소정 각도 경사지게 설치되며 반사된 광빔중 일부를 상기 제1검출소자로 통과시키고 일부를 일부를 상기 제2검출소자로 반사시키는 일측면이 반사면으로 이루어진 나이프에지와 상기 제1, 제2검출소자에 의해 검출된 신호를 차동증폭시키는 차동증폭기를 구비하여 구성된다. 따라서 광량의 손실로 인한 검출감도 저하현상과 극성 반전형상 및 RF신호의 출력저하 현상을 방지할 수 있게 된다.

Claims (3)

  1. 일측면에 반사면이 형성된 나이프에지를 광기록매체로부터 반사되는 광빔의 광축에 대하여 소정각도 경사지게 배치하여 광기록매체로부터 반사되는 광빔의 일부를 차단시켜 제2검출소자로 반사시킴과 동시에 나머지 광빔을 제1검출소자로 통과시키고, 상기 제1, 제2검출소자에 의해 각각 검출된 신호를 차동증폭하여 포커스에러를 검출하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광픽업의 포커스 에러 검출방법.
  2. 광기록매체로부터 반사된 광빔으로부터 각각 포커스 에러신호를 검출하는 제1, 제2검출소자와, 상기 광기록매체로부터 반사되는 광빔의 광축에 대하여 소정각도 경사지게 배치되며 반사된 광빔중 일부를 상기 제1검출소자로 통과시키고 일부를 상기 제2검출소자로 반사시키는 일측면이 반사면으로 이루어진 나이프에지와, 상기 제1, 제2검출소자에 의해 각각 검출된신호를 차동증폭시키는 차동증폭기를 구비하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 광픽업의 포커스에러 검출장치.
  3. 제2항에 있어서 상기 나이프에지가 상기 광기록매체로부터 반사되는 광빔의 광축에 대하여 45도 경사지게 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 광픽업의 포커스에러 검출장치.
