Abstract
The plasma display scree is formed with an anode on a top glass panel and discharge electrodes (13) on the back glass panel. A dielectric is formed on discharge electrode. A cathode is set at right angles to the anode. Further discharge electrodes are set between the anode and the cathode in a vertical direction and are strip formed. The discharge electrode directions may also be parallel to the cathode and the second electrode can be half width. Cathode and first discharge electrodes are capacitively coupled in the same plane.
