Description

전기코일을 이용한 자동차용 히터

본 고안은 차량의 전면에 부착된 전면유리에 발생하는 서리ㆍ성에 및 습기 제거와 차량의 실내난방을 위하여 전기코일을 이용한 자동차용 히터에 관한 것이다.
종래에는 겨울철이나 우천시에 차량의 전면유리에 발생한 서리ㆍ성에 및 습기와 실내난방을 위하여 엔진을 가동한 후 일정시간이 지난다음 엔진의 냉각수 온도가 상승하여 히터 파이프를 통해 히터 유니트내의 팬 모우터의 송풍으로 덕트를 거쳐 노즐을 통해 전면유리로 분사되어 차량 전면유리의 서리ㆍ성에 및 습기를 제거하거나 실내난방을 할 수가 있었다. 상기와 같이 엔진의 냉각수 온도가 상승한 뒤라야 가능하므로 즉시 더운공기를 송풍하지 못하고 실내난방 온도를 조절할 수가 없었다.
또한 국내공개실용신안공보 87-16363호에 의하면 코일열발생부를 구비하여 선택스위치의 절환에 의한 열풍을 이용토록 히터구조가 안출된바 있으나 이는 수동으로 선택스위치를 조작해야 하는 번거로움이 있었다.
본 고안은 상기와 같은 제반 문제점을 해소하기 위하여 전기코일(4)을 설치하여 빠른 시간내에 더운 공기를 송풍토록 하는 한편 온도 스위치(13)를 구성하여 적정온도 이상일 경우 전기코일의 동작을 차단하게 하는 서리ㆍ성에 및 습기와 실내난방을 할 수 있게 한것으로 본 고안의 구성을 살펴보면 다음과 같다.
히터유니트(6)의 몸체에 콘트롤 유니트(5)를 부착하고 온도스위치(13)는 냉각수 파이프에 고정하며 전기코일(4)은 히터유니트(6)와 덕트(3) 사이에 설치하였다.
본 고안을 첨부도면에 의거하여 상세히 설명하면 다음과 같다.
차량의 시동스위치(9)를 ON하면 배터리 전원(8)이 콘트롤 유니트(5)를 작동시키고 이때, 히터스위치(16)를 켜면 콘트롤 유니트(5)에서 전기코일(4)로 전류를 공급하여 전기코일(4)에 열이 발생하게 되고 동시에 히터유니트(12) 내부에 있는 팬 모우터(6)가 동작하여 전기코일(4)에 발생한 더운 공기를 덕트로 송풍하게 하여 차량의 전면유리(1)와 실내난방을 하도록 한다.
또한, 엔진의 냉각수 온수가 높아지게 되면 온도 스위치(13)가 작동하여 콘트롤 유니트(5)는 전기코일(4)에 전류를 차단시켜 전기코일(4)을 OFF시키게 되는데 전기코일(4)의 과열을 위하여 온도휴즈를 설치하고 전기코일(4)의 이상유무를 확인하기 위하여 램프(15)를 구성하였다. 또한, 전기코일(4)이 OFF한 후에는 엔진(7)의 냉각수로서 더운 공기를 송풍하도록 되어 있어 정상적인 작동을 하도록 하였다. 미설명 부호 : 14는 에어콘 스위치이다.
상기와 같이 본 고안에서는 콘트롤 유니트(5)와 히터 스위치(16) 및 온도 스위치(13)의 작동으로 전기코일(4)을 동작시켜 차량의 전면유리(1)에 발생된 서리ㆍ성에 및 습기를 빠른 시내간에 제거하고 실내난방을 할 수 있게 함과 동시에 엔진의 냉각수온도가 일정온도로 높아지면 온도스위치(13)가 자동으로 작동하여 전기코일(4)에 흐르는 전류를 차단토록 함으로써 운전자 및 승차자의 편의를 도모할 수 있는 것이다.

  1. 히터유니트(6)의 몸체에 콘트롤유니트(5)를 부착하고 상기 히터유니트(6)와 덕트(3)사이에 전기코일(4)을 구비하여 선택적으로 전기코일(4)에 대한 더운공기가 발생되도록 한 전기코일을 이용한 자동차용 히터에 있어서, 상기 전기코일(4)의 전원을 단속하는 온도스위치(13)를 냉각수파이프에 설치하여 엔진냉각수의 온도가 높아지면 상기 온도스위치(13)가 동작하여 전기코일(4)에 흐르는 전류를 자동차단토록 함을 특징으로 하는 전기코일을 이용한 자동차용 히터.
