Abstract
친수성 중합체를 탄성중합체 매트릭스로 혼합시킴으로써, 동일한 특성들을 갖는 친수성 중합체가 충진된 탄성중합체가 제조된다. 예시된 방법에서 친수성 중합체를 탄성중합체를 기본으로 하는 중합체와 혼합시킨다. 하나의 양태에서, 친수성 중합체는 생성된 탄성중합체 매트릭스중에서 섬유를 형성시킨다. 본 발명에 따라 제조된, 친수성 중합체가 산재된 기재 탄성중합체 매트릭스는 타이어와 같은 보강된 탄성중합체성 제품중에 사용할 수 있다.

제1도는 본 발명의 중합체 블렌드를 사용하여 제조된 공기타이어, 및 이러한 중합체 블렌드를 함유할 수 있는 그의 다양한 부분들을 예시한다.
제2도는 습윤 및 건조 조건하에서 대조용 고무 매트릭스와 5 및 10phr의 친수성 중합체로 충진된 동일한 고무 제형물의 0℃에서의 복합강도를 예시한다.
Claims (16)
- (a) 기재 탄성중합체를 1 내지 50phr의 친수성 중합체와 혼합하여 친수성 중합체가 충진된 탄성중합체를 제공하는 단계, 및 (b) 상기 친수성 중합체가 그중에 흡수된 수분의 양에 따라 약 0 내지 150℃로 변화하는 Tg를 갖도록 친수성 중합체를 선택하는 단계를 포함하는 탄성중합체의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 탄성중합체를 압출시키거나 캘린더링(calendering)시켜 상기 친수성 중합체를 섬유형태로 지향적으로 배향시키는 단계를 또한 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 분해된 전분을 상기 친수성 중합체로 선택하는 단계를 또한 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 친수성 중합체가 분해된 아밀로즈, 아밀로펙틴 및 그의 혼합물로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택되는 방법.
- (a) 기재 탄성중합체 100phr ; 및 (b) 흡수된 수분함량에 따라 약 0 내지 약 150℃로 변화하는 Tg를 갖는 친수성 중합체 1 내지 50phr을 포함하는 탄성중합체.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 친수성 중합체가 섬유의 형태로 상기 탄성중합체중의 존재함을 특징으로 하는 탄성중합체.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 친수성 중합체가 분해된 전분임을 특징으로 하는 탄성중합체.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 친수성 중합체가 분해된 아밀로즈, 아밀로펙틴, 및 그의 혼합물로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택됨을 특징으로 하는 탄성중합체.
- (a) 탄성중합체 100phr ; 및 (b) 흡수된 수분함량에 따라 약 0 내지 약 150℃로 변화하는 Tg를 갖는 친수성 중합체 1 내지 50phr을 포함하는 탄성중합체를 사용하여 제조됨을 특징으로 하는, 적어도 한쌍의 타이어 비이드, 상기 비이드를 둘러싸는 카커스 플라이, 타이어의 크라운 영역에서 상기 카커스 플라이상에 위치한 트레드, 및 상기 트레드와 비이드 사이에 위치한 측벽을 포함하는 고무 복합체 공기타이어.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 친수성 중합체가 섬유형태로 상기 탄성중합체중에 존재함을 특징으로 하는 공기타이어.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 섬유가 지향적으로 배향됨을 특징으로 하는 공기타이어.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 친수성 중합체가 분해된 전분임을 특징으로 하는 공기타이어.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 친수성 중합체가 분해된 아밀로즈, 아밀로펙틴 및 그의 혼합물로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택됨을 특징으로 하는 공기타이어.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 탄성중합체가 상기 타이어의 트레드를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 공기타이어.
- (a) 타이어의 경화를 관찰하여 더욱 느리게 경화되는 성분을 결정하는 단계, 및 (b) 더욱 느리게 경화되는 성분의 경화속도를 조절하기 위해서, 다량의 수분함량을 갖도록 처리된 친수성 중합체 1 내지 50phr을 첨가함으로써 상기 더욱 느리게 경화되는 성분의 고무 배합물을 개질시키는 단계를 포함하는, 타이어의 경화를 개선시키는 방법.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상이한 양의 친수성 중합체를 상이한 성분에 첨가하여 상기 성분들의 경화시간이 실질적으로 동일하도록 상기 경화시간을 조절하는 단계를 또한 포함하는 방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
