Abstract

Claims (14)
- 가스 유동 시스템의 일부를 형성하는 반응기 챔버를 포함하는 가스 정화 장치에 있어서, 반응기 챔버(101)는 가스의 통과를 제한하는 활성 요소를 포함하며, 상기 반응기 챔버는 고유전상수를 갖는 재료로 구성되고 가스가 통과할 수 있는 팰릿(110)의 몸체와, 상기 활성 요소내의 팰릿을 충전시킬 수 있는 적어도 한쌍의 전극(109)으로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 가스 정화 장치.
- 내연기관 배기 시스템의 일부를 형성하는 반응기 챔버를 포함하는 내연기관 배기 방출 감소용 반응기에 있어서, 반응기 챔버(201)는 정화될 배기가스의 통과를 제한하는 활성 요소를 포함하며, 상기 반응기 챔버는 고유전상수 및 내열성 재료로 구성된 팰릿(208)의 몸체와 상기 활성 요소내의 팰릿(208)을 충전시킬수 있는 적어도 한쌍의 전극(210,211)으로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관 배기 방출 감소용 반응기.
- 제2항에 있어서, 팰릿(208)을 구성하는 재료는 강유전성인 것을 특징으로 하는 반응기.
- 제2항 또는 제3항에 있어서, 팰릿(208)을 구성하는 재료는 NOx의 질소 환원과 탄소 함유 재료의 일산화탄소, 이산화탄소 및 물의 기체 혼합물의 변환을 촉진시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 반응기.
- 제2항 또는 제3항에 있어서, 팰릿(208)은 납 마그네슘 니오브산염, 납 티탄산염, 납 지르콘산염 또는 바륨 티탄산염으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 반응기.
- 제2항 또는 제3항에 있어서, 가스가 반응기 챔버내의 활성 요소에 유입되기 전에 상기 가스가 통과하도록 배치된 보조 전극 세트(212)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 반응기.
- 제2항 또는 제3항에 있어서, 반응가스를 반응기 챔버에 유입시키는 수단(214)이 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 반응기.
- 제2항 또는 제3항에 있어서, 팰릿 몸체를 그 팰릿상에 형성되는 탄소 함유 침착물을 충분히 산화시킬 수 있는 온도로 가열하는 수단이 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 반응기.
- 내연기관의 배기가스 방출물을 감소시키는 방법에 있어서, 고유전상수 및 내열성 재료로 이루어지고 가스가 통과할 수 있는 팰릿(208)의 몸체로 구성된 활성 요소를 포함하는 반응기 챔버(201)에 내연기관 배기가스를 통과시키는 단계와, 배기가스의 탄소 함유 성분을 제거하기 위해 활성 요소내의 팰릿(208)에 전위를 가하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관 배기가스 방출물 감소 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 팰릿(208)에 가해진 전위는 맥동파 DC 또는 AC 전위인 것을 특징으로 하는 내연 기관 배기 가스 방출물 감소 방법.
- 제9항 또는 제10항에 있어서, 팰릿상에 침착된 탄소 함유 침착물을 태워버릴 수 있는 온도로 팰릿(208)을 가열하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관 배기 가스 방출물 감소 방법.
- 제9항 또는 제10항에 있어서, 반응 가스를 반응기 챔버(201)에 유입시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관 배기 가스 방출물 감소 방법.
- 제12항에 있어서, 반응 가스는 배기가스에 포함된 질소 함유 산화물을 환원시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관 배기 가스 방출물 감소 방법.
