본 발명은 음극선관에 관한 것으로서, 더 상세하게는 전자총의 캐소오드로부터방출된 전자의 발산각을 줄여 제어전극이 전자빔통과공을 통과하는 전자빔의 전류밀도를 향상시킬수 있도록된 음극선관에 관한 것이다.
통상적으로 음극선관은 섀도우마스크 프레임 조립체가 그 내부에 설치된 패널과, 그 네크부에 전자총이 봉입된 펀넬이 봉착되어 된 것으로 펀넬의 네크부에 설치되는 전자총은 제1도에 나타내 보인바와 같이 전치삼극관부를 이루는 캐소오드(11) 제어전극(12) 및 스크린전극(13)과 주렌즈계를 이루는 포커스전극(14) 및 최종가속전극(15)이 비이드글래드(16)에 순차적으로 고정설치되어진 것이다.
이와 같이 구성된 음극선관의 전자총은 각 전자총은 각 전극에 소정의 전위가 인가됨에 따라 상기 캐소오드(11)와 제어전극(12) 사이에는 음극렌즈가 형성되고 상기 스크린전극(13)과 포커스전극(14)사이에는 프리포커스렌즈가 형성되며 상기 포커스전극(14)과 최종가속전극(15)사이에는 주렌즈가 형성되게 된다.
따라서 상기 캐소오드(11)로부터 방출된 전자빔은 상기 음극렌즈와 프리포커스렌즈에서 예비집속 및 가속되고 상기 주렌즈에서 최종집속 및 가속되어 형광막에 렌딩됨으로써 하나의 화소를 이루게 되고 이들 화소가 모여 하나의 화면을 이루게 된다.
그런데, 상기 제어전극(12)의 전자빔통과공(12a)의 직경이 캐소오드(11)의 베이스메탈(lla) 직경보다 작게 형성되어 있으므로 캐소오드(11)의 전자방사물질로부터 방출된 전자빔이 제어전극(12)의 전자빔통과공(12a)으로 원활하게 유입되지 않게 된다. 또한 상기 제어전극(12)에는 각각 영V와 400V정도의 전압이 인가되게 되므로 상기 제어전극(12)과 스크린전극(13) 사이에 형성되는 전장에 의해 상기 전자방사물질로부터 방출된 일부 전자빔의 발산각도가 커지게 되어 음극렌즈 및 프리포커스렌즈의 통과시 많은 구면수차를 받게 된다.
따라서 이들 채용한 음극선관은 그 해상도가 저하되게 되며 나아가서는 제품의 상품적 가치가 저하되게 되는 문제점이 있었다.
본 발명은 상기 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 창출된 것으로써 캐소오드로부터 방출된 전자빔이 제어전극의 전자빔통과공 측으로의 지향성을 향상시켜, 그 화상의 휘도 및 해상도를 향상시킨 음극선관용 전자총을 제공함에 그 목적이 있다.
상기 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 발명은 펀넬의 네크부에 설치되는 것으로 전치삼극관부를 이루는 캐소오드, 제어전극 및 스크린전극을 포함한 전자총을 구비하여된 음극선관에 있어서, 상기 캐소오드와 제어전극 사이에 대응되는 네크부의 내주면에 자화체(30)를 설치하여 된 것을 특징으로 한다.
이하 첨부된 도면을 참조하여 본 발명에 따른 한 바람직한 실시예를 상세하게 설명하면 다음과 같다.
본 발명에 따른 음극선관은 형광막이 형성된 패널의 내부에섀도우마스크 프레임조립체가 설치되고, 이 패널은 네크부에 전자총이 봉입된 펀넬과 봉착되어된 것으로, 상기 네크부의 내부에 봉입된 전자총은 제3도에 나타내어 보인바와 같이 전치삼극관부를 이루는 캐소오드(21) 제어전극(22) 및 스크린전극(23)과 주렌즈계를 이루는 포커스전극(24) 및 최종가속전극(25)을 구비하여 구성되는데, 상기 캐소오드(21)와 제어전극(22)의 사이와 대응되는 네크부(40)의 내주면에는 본 발명의 특징에 따라 자화체(30)가 설치된다.
여기에서 상기 자화체(30)는 네크부(40)의 내주면을 따라 설치되는 링(ring)의 형상을 가지며, 그 재질로는 이방성페라이트 또는 히토류 플라스틱 마그네크가 사용된다.
그리고 상기 자화체(30)의 자화경사각은 캐소오드(21)의 전자방자물질로부터 방출된 전자빔의 크로스오버점에 대한 입사각이 약 30˚정도이므로 전자총(20)의 중심축 또는 자화체의 캐소오드측의 면에 대해 20 내지 40˚범위내에 들도록 함이 바람직하다.
이와같이 구성된 본 발명에 따른 음극선관의 작용을 설명하면 다음과 같다.
먼저 상기 음극선관의 네트부(40)에 봉입된 전자총(30)의 각 전극에 소정의 전위가 인가되게 되면 캐소오드(21)의 제어전극(22)사이에 음극렌즈가 형성되고, 상기 스크린전극(23)과 포커스전극(24) 사이에는 프리포커스렌즈가 형성되며 상기 포커스전극(24)과 최종가속전극(25) 사이에는 주렌즈가 형성되게 된다.
따라서 상기 캐소오드(21)의 전자방사물질로부터 방출된 전자빔은 상기 음극렌즈 및 프리포커스렌즈에서 예비집속 및 가속되고, 상기 주렌즈에서 최종집속 및 가속되어 형광막이 랜딩됨으로써 하나의 화소를 이루게 된다.
그런데 본 발명에 따른 음극선관은 상기 캐소오드(21)와 제어전극(22) 사이의 네크부 내주면에 링형의 자화체(30)가 설치되어 있으므로 자화체(30)의 마그네틱 필드에 의해 캐소오드(21)의 전자방사물질로 부터방출되는 열전자가 제어전극(22)의 전자빔통과공에 대한 지향성을 향상시킬수 있게 되고 결과적으로 전자빔의 빔전류밀도를 향상시켜 화면의 휘도 및 포커스특성을 향상시킬수 있다.
이를 더욱 상세하게 설명하면 제4도에 나타내 보인바와 같이 캐소오드(21)의 전자방사물질로부터 방출된 전자빔은 음극렌즈를 통해 제어전극(22)의 전자빔통과공(22a)을 통과하게 되는데, 상기 전자빔의 크로스오버점에 입사되는 입사각과 대략 동일 각도 방향으로 자화된 자화체(30)가 설치되어 있으므로 이 자화체(30)의 마크네틱 필드에 의해 캐소오드(21)의 주변부에서 방출된 전자빔의 각도가 큰 전자를 제어전극(23)의 전자빔통과공측으로 모아주게 된다. 따라서 상기 캐소오드(21)로부터 방출된 전자는 제어전극(22)의 전자빔통과공측으로 지향되게 되고, 상기 제어전극(22)의 전자빔통과공(22a)을 통과하는 전자빔의 빔전류밀도가 향상된다. 또한 상기 캐소오드(21)의 전자방사물질로부터 방출되는 전자의 발산각을 일정하게 할수 있어 프리포커스렌즈와 메인렌즈의 주변부로 통과하는 전자빔을 최소화할수 있게 되며 나아가서는 각 정전렌즈를 통과하는 구면수차를 극소화할수 있다.
이와같이 본 발명을 음극선관은 전자총의 캐소오드와 제어전극사이에 대응되는 네크부의 내주면에 자화체를 설치함으로써 캐소오드로부터 전자빔이 제어전극의 전자빔통과공측으로의 지향성을 향상시킬수 있으며 결과적으로 빔전류밀도를 향상시켜 화상의 휘도 및 포커스 특성을 향상시킬수 있는 이점이 있다.

Claims (4)

  1. 펀넬의 네크부에 설치되는 것으로, 전치삼극관부를 이루는 캐소오드, 제어전극 및 스크린전극을 포함한 전자총을 구비하여된 음극선관에 있어서 상기 캐소오드(21)와 제어전극(22)사이에 대응되는 네크부(40)의 내주면 자화체(30)를 설치하여 된 것을 특징으로 하는 음극선관.
  2. 제1항에 있어서 상기 자화체(30)가 링형상을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 음극선관.
  3. 제1항 또는 2항중 적어도 어느 한 항에 있어서 상기 자화체(30)가 이방성 페라이트 또는 히토류 플라스틱 마크네트인 것을 특징으로 하는 음극선관.
  4. 제1항 또는 2항중 적어도 어느 한항에 있어서 상기 자화체(30)의 자화 경사각이 전자총의 중심축에대해 제어전극(22)측으로 20˚내지 40˚인 것을 특징으로 하는 음극선관.
