Abstract

본 발명은 액정라이트 밸브를 개시한다.
본 발며은 액정라이트 밸브의 후면기판을 SIO2, LINbO3, LITa2,O5등과 같은 압전소자로 이루어진 것에 특징이 있으며, 이는 광이용효율을 향상시켜 스크린면에 주사되는 색의 휘도가 저하되는 것을 방지할 수 있으며, 나아가서는 이를 채용한 이미지 투사장치의 크기를 줄일 수 있는 이점이 있다.

Claims (2)

  1. 화상신호를 담은 입력광에 의해 임피던스가 변화되는 광도전층과, 소정전위의 전압에 의해 입사된 출력광을 복굴절시키는 액정을 포함하는 복굴절수단층과, 상기 복굴절수단층과 상기 광도전층사이에 개재된 차광층 및 반사층과, 상기 복굴절수단의 구동전압을 제공하는 전극이 각각 형성되며 상기 광도전층과 복굴절수단을 감싸는 전후면기판을 구비하여 된 액정라이트 밸브에 있어서, 상기 투사광측의 후면기판(12)이 압전소자로 된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정라이트 밸브.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 압전소자가 SIO2, LINbO3, LITa2,O5중 적어도 하나인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정라이트 밸브.
