본 고안은 개구부 확개가 용이하면서 파이프 취부 상태가 견고하도록 한 파이프 렌치에 관한 것이다.
종래에는 본인의 선출원 91-13653호와 같이 개구부 확개는 용이하나 파이프 취부 상태가 위치에 따라 견고하지 못한 경우가 발생하고, 본인의 선출원 91-22789호와 같이 확개가 용이하면서 취부상태를 보완한 것이 있으나 이는 판스프링등을 이용하므로서 장기간 사용시 스프링의 복원력이 둔화되어 취부상태가 약화되고, 스프링을 교환 교체 해줘야 하는 번거로움이 있었다.
본 고안은 상기한 바와 같은 제반 결점을 해소코자 라쳇트 기어와 걸림키를 형성하여 파이프 렌치의 회동부가 파이프 외주연에 맞게 닫혀지는 것은 용이하나 닫혀진 취부상태에서 손잡이버튼을 놓으면 걸림키가 라쳇트 기어 경사각에 맞게 걸리는 상태가 되므로 어떠한 위치에서 힘을 가압해도 회동부가 열리지 않게 되어, 약간의 유동은 있으나 취부상태가 견고하여 파이프 체결 작업이 용이하도록 하는데 그 목적이 있는 것으로 이를 첨부 도면에 의거하여 상세히 설명하면 다음과 같다.
회동부(2) 단부측에 기어(40')를 부분적으로 형성시킨 라쳇트 기어(40)를 형성하여 고정 부착하고, 손잡이(4) 요철부(5) 하부측에는 라쳇트기어(40)와 대향되는 방향으로 걸림키(42)를 돌설시킨 제동부(50)를 부설시키되, 제동부(50)의 걸림키(42)는 단부측에 라쳇트 기어(40) 경사각과 비슷한 경사면(47)을 형성시키고, 적정한 곳에 걸림부(46)를 돌설시킨 박스(41)내에서 스프링(45)을 삽설한채 내장시킬 수 있도록 하고 박스(41)에 캡(44)을 체결 고정한 후, 상기 걸림키(42)의 타단부측에는 손잡이(43)를 고정 부착시켜 손잡이(43)의 당김 작동 유무에 따라 걸림키(42)가 라쳇트기어(40)에 괘지 분리될 수 있도록 구성된 파이프 렌치이다.
이와 같이 구성된 본 고안의 작용 및 효과를 살펴보면 다음과 같다.
손잡이(43)를 당기면 스프링(45)이 탄지되면서 걸림키(74)의 단부 경사면(47)이 라쳇트기어(40)의 기어(40')에서 분리되므로 회동부(2)를 임의의 각도로 회동시킬 수 있게 되고, 이 파이프 렌치(1)의 개구부에 연결, 체결하고자 하는 파이프(30)를 삽입시킨후 손잡이(4)를 앞으로 당기면 라쳇트기어(40)가 역방향으로는 걸리지 않게 되므로 돌아가 파이프(30)를 물게되고 손잡이(43)를 놓으면 걸림키(42)가 스프링(45)의 복원력에 의해 돌설되어 라쳇트 기어(40) 사이에 삽입 괘지되고 걸림키(42) 경사면(47)이 라쳇트 기어(40) 경사각과 비슷하므로 약간의 유동은 있으나 외부에서 가압하는 힘으로 회동부(2)가 열리지 않게 되어 파이프(30)를 회동시키면 연결 체결하는 작업이 아주 용이하게 되는 것이다.
이상과 같은 본 고안은 구성이 간단하여 설치가 용이하고, 파이프 취부상태가 견고하여 안전하고 기존 제품에도 활용할 수 있으며 개구부 개폐를 위해 나사를 회전시키면서 일일이 수작업을 하지 않아도 되므로 작업능률이 대폭 향상되는 아주 유용한 고안인 것이다.

Claims (1)

  1. 회동부(2) 단부측에 기어(40')를 부분적으로 형성시킨 라쳇트 기어(40)를 형성하여 고정 부착하고, 손잡이(4) 요철부(5) 하부측에는 라쳇트 기어(40)와 대향되는 방향으로 걸림키(42)를 돌설시킨 제동부(50)를 부설시키되, 제동부(50)의 걸림키(42)는 단부측에 라쳇트 기어(40) 경사각과 비슷한 경사면(47)을 형성시키고, 적정한 곳에 걸림부(46)를 돌설시켜 박스(41)내에서 스프링(45)을 삽설한채 내장시킬 수 있도록 하고, 박스(41)에 캡(44)을 체결 고정한후 상기 걸림키(42)의 타단부측에는 손잡이(43)를 고정 부착시켜 손잡이(43)의 당김 작동 유무에 따라 걸림키(42)가 라쳇트 기어(40)에 괘지 분리될 수 있도록 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 파이프 렌치.
