본 고안은 모니터의 화면 보상 장치에 관한 것으로, 특히 수평귀선신호를 트랜지스터와 다이오드로서 처리하여 영상신호 입력에 합성시켜 무신호시에 화면이 겹치지 않도록 보상하는 무신호시 모니터의 화면 보상 장치에 관한 것이다.
종래에는 제3도에서 도시된 바와같이 영상신호 입력단자(Vi)로 부터 영상신호가 인가되면 가변저항(VR2)은 보조 콘트라스트 제어용으로 동작하며 입력신호의 크기 변화가 저항(R2)을 통하여 비교기(31)의 입력단(-)에 인가된다.
따라서 비교기(31)출력의 변화 상태가 영상출력단자(Vo)에 나타나 화면의 명암상태가 조절되도륵 되어 있으며 주콘트라스트 조정은 가변저항(VR1)과 저항(R3) 및 콘덴서(C2)의 바이어스 전압에 의하여 전계효과 트랜지스터(Q1)의 게이트 전압을 변화시킴과 동시에 그의 드레인 전압을 변동시켜 영상신호 입력 크기를 조절시키도록 한 것이다.
그러나, 이와같은 장치는 만약 컴퓨터피서 영상신호 입력단자(Vi)에 영상신호가 인가되지 않는 상태에서는 영상출력단자(Vo)에 신호가 나타나지 않게 되어 모니터 화면 전체가 어둡게 되므로 모니터 자체의 고장인가 아니면 컴퓨터에서의 영상신호 입력이 없는가의 판별이 어렵게 되므로, 도시 생략된 컴퓨터로 부터 자체 시험단자(ST)에 ‘하이’신호를 연속적으로 인가되도록 하여 전체 화면상태를 비교적 밝게 유지하도록 하고 있으나, 이는 영상신호가 블랭킹 기간동안에도 ‘하이’전위가 인가되는 상태가 되어 모니터의 화면에서는 최대 주사 범위를 넘어서 주사하게 되고 동시에 블랭킹 기간에서의 ‘하이’신호가 화면에서는 라스터가 겹치도록 하므로 화면 라스터 상태가 나빠질 뿐만 아니라 음극선관의 화면에서 일정부분만 밝게 나타나게 되어 음극선관의 수명이 단축되는 단점이 있었다.
본 고안은 이러한 종래의 단점을 해결하기 위하여 트랜지스터와 저항 및 다이오드로 된 보상회로를 개재하여 수평귀선신호를 자체시험 신호와 함께 처리하여 영상신호 입력에 합성시키므로서 컴퓨터에서의 영상상출력이 없다 할지라도 화면을 밝게 유지시킴과 동시에 블랭킹 기간에는 ‘하이’신호가 영상출력에 나타나지 않도록 하여 화면 라스터 상태를 좋게 유지함과 동시에 부분 발광 현상을 제거하여 음극선관의 수명을 연장시킬수 있도록 한 모니터의 화면 보상장치를 제공하는 것을 그 목적으로 하는 것으로, 이하 첨부된 도면에 의하여 본 고안의 구성을 상세히 설명하면 다음과 같다.
제1도에 도시한 바와같이 본 고안 장치는 영상신호입력(Vi)이 가변저항(VR2)을 통하여 비교기(1)의 입력단(-)에 인가되고 전원(B+)이 콘트라스트 조절용 가변저항(Vr1)을 통하여 전계효과 트랜지스터(Q1)의 게이트에 인가되며 그의 소오스 단자가 비교기(1)의 입력단(-)에 연결됨과 동시에 지체 시험단자(ST)가 구비된 화면보상 장치에 있어서, 수평귀선 신호입력(HR)을 에미터가 접지된 트랜지스터(TR1)의 베이스에 인가하고, 트랜지스터(TR1)의 콜렉터는 자체 시험단자(ST)와 함께 트랜지스터(TR2)의 베이스에 연결하되 트랜지스터(TR2)의 에미터는 영상신호 입력단(Vi)에 연결하여 구성된 것으로, 미설명 부호 R4-R6은 저항, D1는 다이오드이다.
이와같이 구성된 본 고안 장치의 작용효과를 제1도 및 제2a-d도를 참조하여 설명하면 먼저, 제1도에서와 같이 영상입력신호(Vi)가 인가되지 않는 상태에서 제2a도와 같은 일정한 직류전압이 자체 시험단자(ST)에 인가되면 트랜지스터(TR2)베이스에 바이어스 전압이 공급되기 때문에 트랜지스터(TR2)는 포화상태가 된다.
이때 트랜지스터(TR2)의 콜렉터에 인가되는 전원(B+)이 그의 에미터를 통하여 영상신호 입력단자(Vi)와 함께 가변저항(VR2)에 인가되어 종래의 회로와 동일하게 동작되는데 즉, 제2a도와 같은 영상 신호에서 A부분만 영상이 표시되기 때문에 자체시험신호 인가시 제2a도에 도시된 A부분만 전압이 인가될수 있도록 제2b도와 같은 수평귀선 신호를 저항(R4, R5)으로 분압하여 수평귀선 기간 동안에만 트랜지스터(TR1)의 베이스에 전압이 인가된다.
즉, 수평귀선 기간동안만 트랜지스터(TR1)가 동작되어 제2c도와 같은 신호가 인가되어서 영상신호가 인가되지 않을때 제2a도와 같은 신호가 제2c도와 같이 되어서 A부분만 신호가 인가된다.
따라서 컴퓨터 신호가 인가되지 않을 때 자체 시험신호에 의한 라스터 상태가 양호하게 나타난다.
여기에서 다이오드(D1)는 트랜지스터 보호용으로 부극성 퍽스성분을 제거하기 위한 것이다.
이상에서 설명된 바와같이 본 고안 장치에 의하면 컴퓨터에서 영상 신호 입력이 없는 경우에 자체 시험신호가 하이로만 인가되는 것을 블랭킹 기간 동안에는 ‘로우’로 유지시킬수 있어 화면 라스터 상태를 좋게 유지할 수 있음과 동시에 부분 발광을 제거하여 음극선관의 수명을 더욱 연장할 수가 있는 효과가 있다.

  1. 영상신호입력이 가변저항을 통하여 비교기(1)의 입력단에 인가되고, 전원(B+)이 콘트라스트 조절용 가변저항(VR1)을 통하여 전계효과 트랜지스터(Q1)의 게이트에 인가되며, 그의 소오스 단자가 비교기(1)의 입력단(-)에 연결됨과 동시에 자체 시험단자(ST)가 구비된 화면 보상 장치에 있어서, 수평귀선 신호 입력(HR)을 에미터가 접지된 트랜지스터(TR1)의 베이스에 인가하고, 트랜지스터(TR1)의 콜렉터는 자체시험단자(ST)와 함께 트랜지스터 (TR2)의 베이스에 연결하되 트랜지스터(TR2)의 에미터는 영상신호 입력단(Vi)에 연결하여 된 모니터 화면 보상장치.
