Claims (7)

  1. 충진시 전기장 또는 자기장을 가함을 특징으로 하는, 호메오트로픽(homeotropic) 에지 배향을 갖는 액정 디스플레이를 액정 매질로 충진시키는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 교류 전기장을 사용함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 교류 전기장의 주파수가 10Hz 내지 20kHz임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  4. 제2항 또는 제3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 교류 전기장의 진폭이 1×103V/cm 5×106V/cm 임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  5. 제1항 내지 제4항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 액정 디스플레이의 쎌 두께가 1㎛ 내지 10㎛ 임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  6. 충진 단계에 전기장 또는 전기장을 가하기 위한 장치를 추가로 포함시킴을 특징으로 하고, 통상의 충진 단계를 기초로 하는, 호메오트로픽 에지 배향을 갖는 액정 디스플레이를 액정 매질로 충진시키기 위한 장치.
  7. 제1항 내지 제5항중 어느 한 항에 따르는 방법으로 충진시킨, 호메오트로픽 에지 배향을 갖는 액정 디스플레이.
