Claims (8)
- 공기용 유입구(2) 및 유입구(2)와 이격된 고순도 질소용 유출구(4)를 가진 용기(1), 및 우선적으로 산소와 이산화탄소를 흡착하여 질소 풍부 기체 스트림을 제공하기 위해 용기(1)의 유입구(2) 부근에 위치된 분자체 흡착제 상(bed)(8)을 포함하는, 공기로부터 고순도 질소를 제조하기 위한 장치에 있어서, 질소 풍부 기체 스트림내로 환원 기체를 도입하는 수단, 및 질소 풍부 기체 스트림 및 환원 기체 통과시에 유출구(4)로부터 물/수증기 및 고순도 질소가 방출될 수 있도록 용기(1)의 유출구(4) 부근에 위치된 촉매층(12)을 특징으로 하는 개선된 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 환원 기체가 유입구(2)를 통해 공기와 함께 용기(1)로 유입되는 수소임을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제1항 내는 제2항에 있어서, 용기(1)의 유입구(2)에 인접하여, 유입구(2)와 분자체 흡착제상(8) 사이에, 공기로부터 수증기와 약간의 이산화탄소를 제거하기 위한 알루미나층(6)을 위치시킴을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제1항 내지 제3항중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 촉매(12) 가 팔라듐이고, 분자체 흡착제 상(8)과 팔라듐층(12)사이에, 팔라듐층(12)에서 생성되는 수증기 또는 열이 분자체 흡착제 상(8)에 악영향을 미치지 못하도록 알루미나층(10)을 위치시킴을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제1항 내지 제4항중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 유출구(4)에 바로 인접하여, 유출구(4)와 촉매층(12)사이에, 유출구(4)를 통해 용기(1)를 나오기 전의 고순도 질소로부터 물/수증기를 제거하기 위한 알루미나층(14)을 위치시킴을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 산소와 이산화탄소를 우선적으로 흡착하는 분자체 흡착제 상(8)에 공기를 통과시켜 질소 풍부 기체 스트림을 제공하는 단계를 포함하는, 단일 반응 용기(1)에서 공기로부터 고순도 질소를 제조하는 방법에 있어서, (a) 질소 풍부 기체 스트림을 환원 기체와 혼합하는 단계 및 (b) 그 혼합물을 촉매층(12)에 통과시켜 물/수증기 및 고순도 질소릍 생성 기체로서 생성시키는 단계를 특징으로 하는 개선된 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 공기를 분자체 흡착제 상(8)에 통과시키기 전에 물/수증기 및 약간의 이산화탄소를 제거하는 단계를 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제6항 또는 제7항에 있어서. 혼합물을 촉매층(12)에 통과시킨 후에 물/수증기 및 고순도 질소를 알루미나층에 통과시켜 고순도 질소로부터 물/수증기률 분리함을 특징으로 하는 방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
