Description

칼라 TV의 자동휘도 제한회로
제 1 도는 본 고안에 따른 자동 휘도제한 회로도.
* 도면의 주요부분에 대한 부호의 설명
1 : 플라이백 트랜스포머(FBT)부 2 : 전압 제어회로
3 : 휘도 조절회로
본 고안은 칼라 TV의 자동 휘도제한(Auto Brightness Limitt : 이하 ABL이라 칭함)회로에 관한 것으로, 특히 높은 수평주파수에서의 동작을 효율적으로 제어할 수 있는 칼라 TV의 ABL회로에 관한 것이다.
ABL회로는 TV수상기에 있어서 화면의 밝기를 어떠한 한계내에서 일정하게 유지시키는 자동휘도를 조정하는 회로를 말한다. 종래의 칼라 TV의 ABL회로는 1981년 11월 15일 도서출판 OHM사에서 발행된 "트랜지스터 칼라 TV회로 동작의 계통적 해석"하권 146페이지의 그림 6-70에 도시되어 있으며, 그의 구성 및 동작은 146-147페이지에 걸쳐 설명되어 있다.
상기와 같은 칼라 TV의 ABL회로로는 회로가 복잡한 문제점이 있었다. 따라서 본 고안은 높은 주파수에서 동작을 효율적으로 할 수 있으며 회로구성이 간단한 칼라 TV의 ABL회로를 제공함에 있다. 이하 본 고안을 첨부한 도면을 참조하여 상세히 설명한다.
제 1 도는 본 고안에 따른 칼라 TV의 ABL회로도로써, 1차측에 수평출력 신호를 입력시켜 2차측에 발생되는 고전압은 CRT의 애노드에 인가하는 플라이백 트랜스포머(FBT)부와, 화면의 밝기에 따라 CRT의 애노드에 흐르는 빔점류와 고전압을 조정하는 전압제어부(2)와, 트랜지스터(Q), 저항(R1-R3)와 다이오드(D2)(D3)로 이루어져 상기 전압제어 회로(2)의 출력전압에 따라 애노드에 흐르는 전류를 제어하여 화면의 휘도를 조절하는 휘도조절부(3)로 구성된다.
따라서 본 고안에 따른 구체적인 일 실시예를 제 1 도를 참조하여 상세히 설명한다.
수평출력 신호가 입력단(4)을 통하여 플라이백 트랜스포머(FBT)의 1차측의 일단에 인가되면 2차측의 일단에 고압이 발생되어 다이오드(D1)를 거쳐 CRT의 애노드에 고전압이 인가된다.
또한 전압제어부(2)는 상기 플라이백 트랜스포머(FBT)의 1차측의 하단에 접속되고(+B1)이 인가되어 화면의 밝기에 따라 CRT의 애노드에 인가되는 전압 및 빔전류 제어하게 된다. 즉 화면이 어두운 상태가 되면 상기 전압제어부(2)가 저항(R1)에 저전위로 인가하여 플라이백 트랜지스포머(FBT)의 2차측에 빔전류가 적게 흐르게 되며, 따라서 저항(R2)를 거쳐 트랜지스터(Q)의 베이스에 고전압이 인가된다. 그때 상기 트랜지스터(Q)는 npn형이므로 동작되지 않는다.
그러나 화면이 밝아지게 되면 상기 전압제어부(2)에서 저항(R4)으로 인가되는 전압이 상승하게 되어 플라이백 트랜스포머(FBT)의 2차측과 다이오드(D1)을 통해 CRT의 애노드로 흐르는 빔전류의 양이 많아진다. 즉 CRT의 애노드 전압이 높아지게 된다. 그때 저항(R2)를 통해 트랜지스터(Q)에 인가되는 전압이 저항(R3)를 통해 상기 트랜지스터(Q)의 에미터에 인가되는 전원전압(+B)보다 낮으므로 순 바이어스가 생겨 상기 트랜지스터(Q)는 베이스전류와 콜렉터전류가 흐르게 하게 된다. 즉 다이오드(D2)(D1) 및 저항(R2)를 통해 베이스전류가 흐르고, 또한 콜렉터 전류가 증가하므로 상기 트랜지스터(Q1)의 에미터 전압이 내려가므로 "로우"상태의 신호는 비디오 증폭단으로 인가한다. 따라서 CRT의 캐소드전압을 높이므로 바이어스를 깊게하여 CRT의 애노드전류가 증가하는 것을 방지할 수 있다.
상술한 바와 같이 본 고안은 높은 수평주파수의 ABL회로를 간단한 회로 구성으로써 회로의 동작을 효율적으로 제어할 수 있는 잇점이 있다.

  1. 칼라텔레비젼의 ABL회로에 있어서, 화면의 밝기에 따라CRT의 애노드에 흐르는 빔전류와 고전압을 조정하는 전압제어부(2)와, 트랜지스터(Q), 저항(R1-R3)와 다이오드(D2)(D3)로 이루어져 상기 전압제어 회로(2)의 출력전압에 따라 애노드에 흐르는 전류를 제어하여 화면의 휘도를 조절하는 휘도조절부(3)로 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 칼라텔레비젼의 ABL회로.
