제2도는 밀폐식 전기 화학 장치의 용기내에 설치된 본 발명의 권선형 전극 어셈블리의 다른 실시예에 대한 횡단면도,
제3도는 밀폐식 니켈-카드뮴 전지용의 본 발명에 따른 권선형 전극 어셈블리로써 전지 용량이 증대됨을 보여주는 그래프.
Claims (14)
- 용기내에 위치한 권치형 전극 어셈블리를 갖는데, 이 전극 어셉블리가 도전성 기판과 기판의 적어도 한면에 고착된 전기 화학적 활성재로 이루어진 적어도 하나의 전극을 가지며 상기 하나의 전극이 상기 전극 어셈블리의 외부 덮개를 형성하도록 되어 있는 밀폐식 전지에 있어서, 상기 외부 덮개내에 있는 기판의 일측상에서 상기 기판의 적어도 일부가 전기 화학적 활성재를 갖지 않고 상기 용기의 일부와 접촉하며, 상기 전기 화학적 활성재가 용기와 접촉을 이루는 상기 일측과 바로 대향하는 타측상에서 상기 외부 덮개내에 있는 기판의 적어도 일부에 고착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 밀폐식 전지.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 용기가 측벽이며 상기 용기의 일부가 상기 측벽의 일부인 밀폐식 전지.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 기판의 일부가 상기 측벽의 실질적인 일부와 접촉하도록 되어 있는 밀폐식 전지.
- 제1항에 있어서, 실질적으로 상기 모든 기판에 구멍이 뚫려 있는 밀폐식 전지.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 외부 덮개내의 기판의 일부에 실질적으로 구멍이 뚫려 있지 않은 밀폐식 전지.
- 제1항에 있어서, 실질적으로 상기 외부 덮개의 모든 기판이 상기 용기의 일부와 전기적으로 접촉하도록 되어 있는 밀폐식 전지.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전극 어셈블리가 나선형으로 권취되고, 제1의 전기 화학적 활성재로써 코팅된 정 전극 플레이트, 상기 한 전극으로 작용하는 제2전기 화학적 활성재로써 코팅된 부 전극 플레이트, 및 실질적으로 상기 모든 전지를 통해서 상기 정 전극 플레이트와 상기 부전극 플레이트 사이에 삽입된 분리재를 구비하는 밀폐식 전지.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전기 화학적 활성제가 상기 외부 덮개의 실질적으로 모든 외측에 존재하지 않는 밀폐식 전지.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전지가 니켈 전극을 포함하는 전지이고 상기 한 전극 플레이트가 부 플레이트인 밀폐식 전지.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 부 전극이 탄성 중합체가 결합제를 함유하는 카드뮴을 함유한 전기 화학적 활성 재료의 유기 슬러리로 상기 기판을 압출 코팅함으로써 제작되는 밀폐식 전지.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 부 전극의 기판이 그것이 일측상에서 벗겨져 활성제가 존재하지 않는 외부 덮개의 외측면의 일부를 형성하는 밀폐식 전지.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 니켈 전극이 니켈을 함유한 전기 화학적 활성재의 슬러리로써 채워진 고다공성의 금속 기포 기판으로 형성되는 밀폐식 전지.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 외부 덮개의 외측면에 전체적으로 분리재가 없는 밀폐식 전지.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 부 전극이 카드뮴 전극이고, 상기 카드뮴 전극을 형성하는 기판이 내측 회선에 구멍이 뚫린 하이브리드 구조로서 구멍뚫린 기판의 양면상에 카드뮴 전기 화학적 활성재의 층을 가지며, 전극 어셈블리에 대하여 외부 덮개를 형성하는 카드뮴 전극의 일부와 관련된 기판의 제2부분에는 실질적으로 구멍이 뚫려 있지 않고 그 기판의 제2부분이 상기 용기 내부벽의 적어도 일부와 접촉을 이루는 밀폐식 전지.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
