Claims (5)

  1. 마찰 조절제와 결합된 해면철 입자 20내지 50중량%와 페놀 수지에 의해 매트릭스에 지지되는 보강섬유를 가지고, 상기한 해면철이 브레이크를 가할 때, 마찰재료가 또다른 부재와 결합시에 높은 냉마찰계수와 비교적 낮은 마모 계수를 부여하는 마찰재에 있어서, 상기한 마찰재가 실질적으로 동일한 작동 특성으로 보유하면서 14내지 33중량%의 밀 스케일로 상기한 해면철을 대치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 마찰재.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 밀 스케일이 FeO, Fe2O3및 Fe3O4의 혼합물로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 마찰재.
  3. 제1항에 이어서, 밀 스케일 대 해면철의 비가 1 : 10 내지 1 : 1의 범위에 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 마찰재.
  4. 제2항에 있어서, 밀 스케일의 50%이상이 +60 메쉬보다 작은 입자 크기를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 마찰재.
  5. 해면철 입자, 밀 스케일, 마찰 조절제 및 페놀수지 매트릭스에 보유된 강 섬유로 이루어지고, 상기한 해면철과 밀 스케일이 브레이크를 가했을 때 용인할 만한 소음 수준을 유지하면서 비교적 낮은 마모 계수를 가지는 높은 냉마찰계수를 부여하고, 상기한 마찰재의 성분들이 마찰재 중량에 대해 다음의 근사치 백분율로 들어있는 것을 특징으로 하는 마찰재.
