디메틸 테레프탈레이트로부터 폴리에틸렌 테레프탈레이트를 제조하는 방법

제1도는 본 발명의 방법을 실시하는 바람직한 방법을 묘사하는 생산공정도이다.

Claims (8)

  1. 디메틸테레프탈레이트와 에틸렌 글리콜을 2가 망간촉매를 사용하여 반응시켜 테레프탈산의 비스 글리콜에스테르 및 메탄올을 형성시킨 후, 비스 글리콜 에스테르를 중합시켜 고분자량 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트를 제조하는 방법에 있어서, 존재하는 망간량과 화학량론적으로 약 등량 이상인 양의 테레프탈산 및/또는 이소프탈산을 첨가하여 비스 글리콜 에스테르를 형성한 후 2가 망간촉매를 침전시키고, 비스 글리콜 에스테르 생성물을 중합시키기 전에 침전물에 제거하는 단계를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 침전물을 약 190℃ 미만의 온도에서 여과하여 제거하는 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 첨가한 테레프탈산의 양이, 존재하는 망간량과 화학량론적으로 약 등량 이상인 양 내지 화학론적으로 망간량의 약 2배 이하인 방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 망간촉매가 아세트산망간인 방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 테레프탈산을 첨가하기 전에 시스템으로부터 메탄올을 제거하는 방법.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 에틸렌 글리콜을 제거하는 축합 반응으로 중합시키는 방법.
  7. 제2항에 있어서, 여과단계에 보유용량이 1.5μ인 글래스휠터지를 사용하는 방법.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 약 160내지 180℃에서 여과하여 침전물을 제거하는 방법.
