Claims (5)
- 한 액정층과, 상기 액정층을 삽입하기 위한 한쌍의 기판과, 상기 한 기판상에 형성된 일군의 주사 전극과, 상기 다른 기판상에 형성된 일군의 신호 전극을 구비하여, 상기 주사 전극군에 주사 전압 파형을 인가하며, 상기 신호 전극군에 신호 전압 파형을 인가하며, 상기 주사 전압 파형과 상기 언압 파형사이의 전압차의 극성을 주기적으로 반전시켜 구동하는 액정 표시 장치에 있어서, 상기 극성을 반전시키는 때에 상기 주사 전압 파형과 상기 신호 전압 파형중 최소 어느 하나의 파형을 변화시키는 수단을 포합하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 극성을 반전시킨때에 상기 주사 전압 파형과 상기 신호 전압 파형중 최소 어느 하나의 변화량을 상기 액정 표시 장치에 표시된 그래픽 또는 문자 패턴에 대응하여 제어하는 수단을 더 구비하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 극성 반전 동작과 다른 동작 동안에 상기 주사 전압 파형과 상기 신호 전압 파형중 최소 하나를 상기 액정 표시 장치에 표시된 상기 그래픽 또는 문자 패턴에 대응한 양으로 변화시키는 수단을 더 구비하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 극성을 반전직후에 인가된 비선택 전압을 선택 전압이 상기 극성 반전에 따라 상기 극성 반전직전에 인가되며, 또한 상기 비선택 전압이 상기 주사 전극군 사이에 상기 극성 반전 직후에 인가되는 상기 주사 전극과 연관하여 변화시키는 수단을 더 구비하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 선택 전압이 상기 극성 반전에 따라 상기 극성 반전 직전에 인가되며, 또한 상기 비선택 전압이 상기 주사 전극군 사이에 상기 극성을 반전시키는 직후에 인가되는 상기 주사 전극과 관련하여 상기 극성 반전 직후에 인가된 상기 비선택 전압의 변화량을 상기 액정 표시 장치에 표시된 그래픽 또는 문자 패턴에 대응하여 제어하는 수단을 더 구비하는 액정 표시 장치.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
