제5도는 제1도 셀의 액정층내 분자 배열을 도시한 도면,
제7도는 스위칭 특성이 a,c안정화의 존재에 의해 스위칭 특성이 어떻게 변경되는가 도시한 그래프,
제8도는 각기 다른 펄스순서로 어드레스된 때 픽셀에 인가된 전위차를 나타내는 다수의 파형을 도시한 도면.

Claims (2)

  1. 필셀(pixel)이 액정층의 한 측면에서 제1전극 세트 부분과 액정층의 다른 한측면에서 제2전극 세트부분사이의 중첩영역에 의해 만들어지고, 이 같은 픽셀이 스트로브(strobe) 펄스를 제1전극세트 부분으로 순차적으로 적용시키므로써 한 라인씩(line-by-basis)선택적으로 어드레스되며, 자료펄스가 제2전극세트 부분에 병렬로 적용되는 강유전성 액정층을 갖는 행렬-배열형 액정 셀을 어드레싱 하는 방법에 있어서, 한 유료자료의 자료펄스가 지속기간 2t의 전하 평형 쌍극헝 펄스이며. 이 같은 지속기간 2t의 전하 평형 쌍극형 펄스가 지속기간 t동안 전압+VD로 제1전압 회 유를 만들고 뒤이어 또 다른 지속기간 t동안 전압 -VD로의 제2전압회유가 뒤따르며, 이 때 맞은편 유효자료의 자료펄스가 지속기간 2t의 전하평형 쌍극형 펄스이고, 이 같은 지속기판 2t의 전하 평형 쌍극형회유(excursion)가 지속기간 t인 전압 -VD로 제1전압회유를 만들며 또 다른 지속기간 t동안 전압 +VD로의 제2의 전압회유가 뒤따르고, 여기서 스트로브 펄스가 지속기간3t의 전하평형 쌍극형 펄스이며 이때의 펄스가 지속기간 t동안 계수 |Vs|의 전압으로 제1전압회유를 만들고 제1의 전압회유 및 계수 |Vs|의 전압과 반대 방향인 제2전압회유에 의해 지속기간 t동안 뒤이어지며, 여기서 스트로브 펄스의 제1 및 제2 전압회유와 동기 되어짐을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 자료와 스트로브 펄스의 픽셀 전극으로 적용에 의해 픽셀을 가로질로 인가된 전압이 픽셀의 안정화를 스위치 된 상태로 픽셀의 안정화를 하는 교번전압 안정화 파형의 적용에 의해 보충하여지게 됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
