Claims (10)

  1. 순 광이득이 있는 에너지 레벨까지 여기 가능한 메체와 양단부들에 개구들을 가지며 그것과 광학장치의 프레낼 수가 1도다 큰 셀, 매체의 에너지 레벨을 순 광이득이 있도록 상승시키는 수단, 및 셀의 각 단부에서 각 개구를 자체의 부근에 비추는 광학장치를 포함하는 다중 통과 광 증폭기.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 각 광학 장치가 개구로 부터 대략 그 곡률 반경과 같은 거리에 위치되는 구면 거울을 포함하는 다중 통과 광 증폭기.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 광학 장치들 중 최소한 하나가 평면 거울 및 거울과 개구사이에 개구로 부터 대략 그 촛점 길이의 거리에 위치되는 렌즈를 포함하는 다중 통과 광 증폭기.
  4. 지속기간은 최소한 100마이크로초이고 최소한 1/10쥬울의 광 펄스를 내기 위하여 빛을 증폭하는 방법으로서, 최소한 100 마이크로 초동안 셀 내의 매체를 순 광이득을 갖는 에너지 레벨까지 여기 시키고, 셀의 각 단부로 부터 셀에서 나오는 일정한 파장 대역 내의 모든 빛을 수집하여 그 빛을 1스테라디안 보다 상당히 작은 입체각 까지 지향성 집중도의 공간적으로 비간섭성 광선을 형성하기 위해 증폭시키도록 셀로 되돌려 보내는 단계들로 이루어지는 상기 광 증폭 방법.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 공간적으로 비간섭성인 광선이 대략 10-4스테라디안 이하의 입체각으로 지향성 집중도를 가지는 상기 광증폭 방법.
  6. 제4항에 있어서, 증폭된 광선의 대역폭이 동조 요소에 의해 감소되는 상기 광증폭 방법.
  7. 선택성 광 가열 분해용 광선 발생 장치로서, 빛을 증폭하여 에너지 레벨이 최소한 1쥬울을 이고 펄스 지속기간이 10마이크로초보다 큰 공간적으로 비간섭성인 빛을 발생하기 위한 펄스 동조가능한 염료 례이져와, 동조 가능한 염료 레이저를 여기시키는 가변 전기 펄스를 발생하여 최소한 대략 10-500 마이크로초 범위의 지속기간이 변하는 펄스를 공급하는 펄스 발생회로를 포함하는 상기 광선 발생장치.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 펄스 발생회로가 지속기간이 대략 1밀리초인 펄스를 발생하는 상기 광선 발생 장치.
  9. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 펄스 동조 가능 염료 레이저가 순 광이득을 갖는 에너지 레벨로 여기될 수 있는 염료 용액과 그 마주하는 양단부에 개구를 가지며 프레넬 수가 1보다 큰 셀, 매체를 여기된 에너지 레벨까지 올리는 수단, 및 개구로 부터 나오는 일정한 파장 대역 내의 사실상 모든 빛이 광학 장치들 중 하나를 광선으로서 통과할 때까지 개구를 통하여 셀 안으로 되돌아가도록 각 개구를 그 자체의 부근에서 비추기 위한 셀의 각 단부에 있는 광학 장치를 포함하는 상기 광선 발생 장치.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 레이저를 염료 용액의 이득 곡선을 가로지르게 동조시키는 동조 요소를 포함하는 상기 광선 발생 장치.
