Claims (12)

  1. 2-브로모-2-니트로프로판-1,3-디올(BNPD)과 n-알킬 디메틸 벤질 암모늄 클로라이드[쿠아트(quat)]와의 혼합물을 함유함을 특징으로 하는 세균 억제 조성물.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서, 쿠아트가(50% C14, 40%C12, 10%C16)의 알킬 분포로 이루어진 조성물.
  3. 제 1 항에 있어서, BNPD 대 쿠아트의 중량비가 약 20:1 내지 약 1:6인 조성물.
  4. 2-브로모-2-니트로프로판-1,3-디올(BNPD)과 n-알킬 디메틸 벤질 암모늄 클로라이드(쿠아트)와의 혼합물을 함유하는 조성물의 생장 억제량을 수성 시스템에 첨가함을 특징으로 하여, 수성 시스템 중에서 점액 형성 미생물의 생장을 억제하는 방법.
  5. 제 4 항에 있어서, BNPD 대 쿠아트의 중량비가 약 20:1 내지 약 1:6인 방법.
  6. 제 5 항에 있어서, 쿠아트가 (50%C14, 40%C12, 10%C16)의 알킬 분포로 이루어진 방법.
  7. 제 5 항에 있어서, 조성물을 수성 시스템 밴만 중량부 당 약 0.1 내지 약 200중량부의 양으로 수성 시스템에 첨가하는 방법.
  8. 제 7 항에 있어서, 조성물을 수성 시스템 밴만 중량부 당 약 5 내지 약 50중량부의 양으로 수성 시스템에 첨가하는 방법.
  9. 제 4 항에 있어서, 미생물이 클렙시엘라 뉴모니애(Klebsiella pneumoniae) 세균인 방법.
  10. 제 4 항에 있어서, 미생물이 세균인 방법.
  11. 제 9 항에 있어서, 수성 시스템이 냉각수 시스템인 방법.
  12. 제 9 항에 있어서, 수성 시스템이 펄프 및 종이 제조 시스템인 방법.
