Claims (7)

  1. 마주보는 표면상에 전극이 제공되며, 실에 의해 주변을 따라 상호 접속되는, 분리된 두 병렬 투명 기판을 구비하며, 상기 기판은 셀 두께를 통해 180° 내지 360° 트위스트(디렉터의 회전) 된 액정 셀 매체로 충만된 공간을 둘러싸는 액정 칼라 표시 셀에 있어서, 두 투명 기판 중의 하나에는 자외선 광의 영향하에서 칼라광을 발산하는 형광체가 제공되며, 셀 매체는 이색성, 자외선 광흡수 기질을 포함하며, 셀은 최대로 한 평광자를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 칼라 표시 셀.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 셀 매체는 약 360 내지 370nm의 파장을 가지는 자외선 광을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정칼라 표시 셀.
  3. 제1 또는 2항에 있어서, 셀 매체는 액정조성물 및 이색성, uv 광흡수 기질을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 칼라 표시 셀.
  4. 제1 또는 2항에 있어서, 셀 매체는 자체적으로 이색성 및 uv 광 흡수를 하는 액정 기질을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 칼라 표시 셀.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 형광체가 셀 매체와 마주하는 기판의 내부 벽상에 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 칼라 표시 셀.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 형광체가 제공되는 기판은 전극과 형광체 사이에 제공되는 간섭 필터를 포함하며, uv 광을 통과시키며, 형광체에 의해 발생되는 여기 광을 반사 시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 칼라 표시 셀.
  7. 선행 중 어느 한 항에 표시된 칼라 표시 셀을 사용한 칼라 화상을 나타내기 위한 방법에 있어서, 표시된 화상에 부합되는 전압 패턴이 셀 매체의 어느 한편에 배치되는 전극에 인가되며, 셀은 투명 기판을 거쳐 uv 광에 노출되며, 여기서, uv 광은 비여기 전극 사이에 배치된 셀 매체의 부분내로 흡수되며, uv 광은 셀 매체의 부분내로 통과하며, 여기서 셀 매체의 어느 한편상에 배치된 전극은 여기되거나 또는 그 역으로 되며, 여기서 전송된 uv 광은 칼라 광 빔을 발산시키는 다른 기판상에 제공되는 형광체 도트를 여기시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 칼라 화상 표시방법.
