Abstract

Claims (6)
- 청색광을 발하는 백라이트와;다수의 적색, 녹색 및 청색 화소를 정의하며, 상기 백라이트로 부터의 청색광을 스위칭하여 색상별로 정의 된 상기 화소들을 통한 청색광을 통과하는 제어하는 액정 및 액정을 구동하는 액정 구동회로와;상기 적색 화소에 대응하게 마련되는 상기 청색광에 여기되어 적색광을 발하는 적색 형광체층;상기 녹색 화소에 대응하게 마련되는 상기 청색광에 여기되어 녹색광을 발하는 녹색 형광체층; 그리고상기 청색 화소에 대응하게 마련되는 상기 청색광에 여기되어 청색광을 발하는 청색 자발광 ND(Blue Photo-luminescent Nano Dot)층;을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자발광 LCD.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 청색 발광 ND는 II-IV족, III-V 족 반도체 화합물로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 자발광 LCD.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 적색 형광체는 (Sr,CaS):Eu2+, ( Sr,Ca)2Si5N8:Eu2+ Mg4GeO 5.5 F:Mn 4+로 이루어진 그룹에서 선택되는 하나이고,상기 녹색형광체는 SrGa2S4:Eu2+, (Ba,Sr)SiO4:Eu2+, MgSi2O7, SrAl2O4:Eu2+Ca8Mg(SiO4)4Cl2:Eu 2+, (Cr,Ca)(Al,Si)2:Eu 2+ 로 이루어진 그룹에서 선택되는 하나이고, 그리고상기 청색 ND는 II-IV족, III-V 족 반도체 화합물로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 자발광 LCD.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,외부로 부터의 UV를 차단하여 상기 형광체층 및 ND층에 의한 외부로 부터의 UV의 흡수를 방지하는 UV 필터를 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자발광 LCD.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 UV 필터는 PABA(Aminobenzoic acid) 유도체와 cinnamate 유도체, 살리실산 유도체, 벤조 페논 및 이의 유도체, antharanilate 및 이의 유도체 중 어느 하나의 물질로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 자발광 LCD.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 UV 필터는 아연산화물, 티타늄 산화물, 철산화물, 마그네슘 산화물 중의 어느 하나로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 자발광 LCD.
