Claims (9)

  1. 화합물(L)-멘틸 2-옥소-4-페닐부티레이트.
  2. (a) (L)-멘틸 2-옥소-4-페닐부티레이트를 S-알핀보란과 접촉시켜 입체 선택적으로 환원시키고, (b) 결정화에 의해(L)-멘틸 (R)-2-하이드록시-4-페니부티레이트를 입체 선택적으로 분리시키고, 경우에 따라, 상기와 같이 수득된 에스테르를 가수분해시킴을 특징으로 하는 하기 구조식(3)의 거의 순수한 화합물을 제조 및 분리하는 방법.
    상기식에서, Y는 수소 또는 (L)-멘틸이다.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, Y가 (L)-멘틸인 방법.
  4. 제2항에 있어서, Y가 수소인 방법.
  5. 제2항에 있어서, 수득된 (R)-2-하이드록시-4-페닐부티르산을 산존재하에 적합한 C1-C6알칸올과 접촉시켜서 C1-C6알킬 에스테르로 에스테르화 시키는 방법.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, (R)-2-하이드록시-4-페닐부트로산을 에틸 (R)-2-하이드록시-4-페닐부티레이트로 전환시키는 방법.
  7. 제3항에 있어서, (L)-멘틸 (R)-2-하이드록시-4-페닐부티레이트를 C1-C6알칸올-몰 혼합물(여기서, 물성분은 용매의 약 20% 이하를 구성한다.)을 포함하는 용매로부터 결정화에 의해 입체선택적으로 분리시키는 방법.
  8. 제3항에 있어서, (L)-멘틸 (R)-2-하이록시-4-페닐부티레이트를 C4-C8알칸으로부터 결정화에 의해입체 선택적으로 분리시키는 방법.
  9. 에탄디오산메틸-(L)-멘틸에스테르를 펜에틸마그네슘 브로마이드와 반응시킴을 포함하는 (L)-멘틸 2-옥소-4-페닐부티레이트의 제조방법.
