자동차용 백미러
제1도는 본 고안에서의 하우징, 거울 및 브러쉬를 분리시킨 상태에서 일부 단면을 나타낸 정면도.

본 고안은 비나 눈 또는 먼지 등을 제거하기 위하여 형성한 자동차용 백미러에 관한 것이다.
종래에는 비, 눈 및 먼지 등에 의하여 경면이 흐려짐을 방지하기 위하여 통상적으로 천이나 수건등으로 운전중에 수차례를 닦아야 하는 번거로움과 또 여러번 닦은 천이나 수건 등에는 물기나 먼지 등이 스며있거나 묻어 있으므로 이것으로는 경면이 제대로 닦아지지 않을 뿐만 아니라 여기에 신경을 쓰다보면 운전을 소홀히 하게 되므로 교통 사고를 유발하는 원인이 되기도 하였다.
또한 경면 표면에 열풍을 분출하여 경면을 우설, 먼지 등으로부터 보호하도록 한 백미러도 안출된 바 있으나 이러한 백미러에 형성된 열풍장치로는 먼지나 비의 가림으로부터 원만히 보호하게 하기에는 극히 미흡한 결점이 있었다.
따라서 본 고안은 이와 같은 결점을 해소하고 동시에 운전자의 운전에도 지장을 주지 않도록 하기에 지극히 현저한 효과를 나타내는 자동차용 백미러를 제공하고자 하는 것이다.
이와같은 목적을 달성할 수 있는 본 고안은 모우터의 축에 감착한 워엄에 워엄휘일이 교합되고 이 워엄휘일이 회전함에 의하여 회전축이 회전하며 회전축에 삽착된 아암의 회전운동에 의하여 와이퍼 본체가 좌우 왕복운동을 하게 되고 이에 따라 브러쉬가 좌우 왕복 운동을 하도록 구성하였으며 기체의 후부에 방향 지시 등이 구성되는 것이 특징이다.
본 고안을 첨부된 도면에 의하여 상세히 설명하면 다음과 같다.
제2도에 나타난 바와같이 백미러(1)의 기체(2)의 내측 중심부에 위치한 하우징(3)의 좌측면 중심부에 나착된 지지볼트(4)의 선단부에 일단이 감합되는 회전축(5)의 타단부는 4각형 상부(6) 및 나선형상부(7)이 형성된다.
이 회전축(5)의 4각형상부(6)에는 "L"형 아암(8)의 일단이 삽착되어서 너트(9)로 고정시키되, 아암(8)이 삽착되는 부위는 회전축(5)의 4각형부 상부(6)에 삽착되도록 4각형상으로 통공(10)이 천설되어 있다.
또한 하우징(3)내의 회전축(5)에는 워엄 휘일(11)을 감삽하여 고정시키고 공지의 모우터(12)의 축에 감착한 워엄(13)에 워엄 휘일(11)이 교합된다. 구동 아암(8)의 타단부에는 로울러(14)가 유착되어 있으며 이 로울러(14)는 와이퍼 본체(15)의 안내공(16)의 일면에 접하도록 되어 있다.
이 와이퍼 본체(15)의 상하면에 천설된 통공(17)에는 각각 한쌍의 로울러(18)(18')(18'')(18''')가 축설되며 상하면의 통공(17)옆에는 합성고무가 접착된 강판으로 형성된 브러쉬(19)의 상하단부가 삽착되는 통공(26)(26')가 천설된다. 로울러(18)(18')(18'')(18''')는 기체(2)에 고착된 레일(25)(25')에 접동되면서 좌우 왕복운동을 한다.
또한 거울(20)은 기체(2) 양측면에 고착되나 상하면에는 고착되지 않은 상태이며 따라서 기체(2)와 거울(20)과의 사이에는 공간부(21)가 형성되고 이 공간부(21)를 통하여 브러쉬(19)가 좌우 왕복 이동할 수 있게 된다.
기체(2)의 후부에는 미등 겸 방향 지시 등(23)이 형성되어 있다.
도면중 미설명 부호 23은 물뿌리개, 27은 배수공이다.
이와같이 형성된 본 고안은 통상의 자동차용 백미러와 동일한 요령으로 자동차의 적당한 위치에 기체(2)를 장착하고 모우터(12)의 전원 도입선 및 방향 지시 등(22)의 도선(24)을 운전석 측으로 유동하여 스위치 조작으로 모우터(12)을 임의로 회동할 수 있게 하고 또는 점등할 수 있게 하여서 사용하는 것으로 모우터(12)를 구동하여 워엄(13)및 워엄 휘일(11)에 의하여 회전축(5)을 일측으로 서서히 회동하면 이 회전축(5)의 일단에 착설된 구동 아암(8)이 회전하게 되며 이 구동 아암(8)의 일단에 유착된 로울러(14)가 와이퍼 본체(15)의 안내공(16)의 일측면을 접동하면서 회전함에 따라 와이퍼 본체(15)는 좌우 왕복 운동을 하게 되는데, 이 와이퍼 본체(15)는 상하면에 축설된 양 로울러(18)(18')(18'')(18''')가 기체(2)에 고착된 레일(25)(25')을 따라서 좌우 왕복 이동하게 되며 와이퍼 본체(15)가 좌우 왕복 이동함에 따라 와이퍼 본체 (15)의 상하면의 삽입공(17)에 상하 양단이 삽입되어 있는 브러쉬(19)가 좌우 이동하게 되므로 브러쉬(19)에 접해있는 거울(20)이 깨끗이 닦아지게 된다.
그리고 와이퍼 본체(15)의 왕복 운동을 정지시킬 시에는 항상 브러쉬(19)는 기체(2)의 내측에 들어가 있도록 하였으므로 작동이 정시될 시에는 전혀 브러쉬(19)로 인하여 시야가 가리지 않도록 한 것이다.
따라서 본 고안은 구동 아암(8)을 기체(2)내에 형성시키고 거울(20) 외면을 브러쉬(19)가 수평으로 좌우 왕복 운동하므로서 시야에 전혀 지장을 초래하지 않고 안전하게 운전을 할 수 있도록 하였으며 눈이나 비 혹은 먼지가 거울(20)에 접동하는 브러쉬(19)에 의하여 깨끗이 제거할 수 있고 본래의 역할을 완전하게 할 수 잇는 것이다. 또한 기체(2) 후부에 미등겸 방향 지시등(22)이 형성되어 있으므로 야간에도 대향차에게 백미러(1)의 위치 및 운행 방향을 정확히 알 수 있는 것이다.
이상과 같이 본 고안은 구동 모우터에 의해서 외부에 노출된 브러쉬를 임의로 구동시키므로 무리없이 시야에 지장을 주지 않으면서 백미러를 닦아줄 수 있는 동시에 안전하게 운전할 수 있는 효과를 가진다.

  1. 백미러(1)의 기체(2)내에 위치한 하우징(3)의 중심부에 나착된 지지볼트(4)의 선단부에 회전축(5)이 감합되고, 일단부에 4각형상부(6) 및 나선 형상부(7)가 형성된 회전축(5)의 4각형상부(6)에는 일측에 로울러(14)가 유착된 아암(8)의 통공(10)이 삽착되어서 너트(9)로 고정시키며 와이퍼 본체(15)의 안내공(16)에는 로울러(14)가 접동되면서 회전 운동하고 내부 전방측의 상하면에 레일(25)(25')을 각각 고착한 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차용 백미러.
  2. 제1항에 있어서 와이퍼 본체(15)는 상하면에 로울러(18)(18')(18'')(18''')가 각각 축설되도록 통공(17)이 천설되고 그 상하면의 전방측에는 각각 브러쉬(19)가 삽착되는 통공(26)(26')이 천설된 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차용 백미러.
