Claims (20)

Strong detergent composition comprising at least one liquid nonionic surfactant and a long, straight chain condensed polyphosphate dispersed herein as the primary detergent builder salt. The detergent composition of claim 1 comprising at least one member of the group consisting of an acid terminated nonionic surfactant gel inhibitor, an alkylene glycol monoether, and an alkanol phosphate ester stabilizer. The detergent composition of claim 1 comprising one or more detergent adjuvants selected from the group consisting of bleach, bleach activators, optical brighteners, enzymes and flavorings.
