Claims (11)

  1. 티오설페이트/폴리티오네이트 완충수용액을 사용한 수성계에 가스흐름으로부터 이산화황을 제거하는 방법으로서 다음으로 구성된 방법: (a)SO2가스/액체 접촉지역에 이산화황 함유가스, 회수된 황화수소 및 희박한 티오설페이트/폴리티오네이트 완충수용액을 도입하고; (b)SO2가스/액체 접촉지역으로부터 세정된 가스와 풍부화된 티오설페이트/폴리티오네이트 완충수용액을 회수하고; (c)재생지역에 상기 회수된 풍부화된 용액을 도입하고;(d)재생지역에 외부로부터 공급되는 황화수소를 도입시켜서 회수된 풍부화된 용액과 반응시켜서 희박한 티오설페이트/폴리티오네이트 완충수용액에 원소황의 슬러리를 형성하고; (e)단계(a)에 사용하기 위하여 재생지역으로부터 미반응된 과량의 황화수소를 회수하고; (f)재생지역으로부터 상기 슬러리를 유출하여 슬러리로부터 원소황을 분리하고, 단계(a)에 사용하기 위하여 희박한 티오설페이트/폴리티오네이트 완충수용액을 회수한다.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,티오설페이트/폴리티오네이트 완충수용액이 시트레이트 이온으로 완충됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  3. 제1 또는 2항에 있어서, SO2가스/액체 접촉지역으로부터 회수되는 풍부화된 티오설페이트/폴리티오네이트 완충수용액이 0∼0.5몰 농도의 비설파이트 이온을 함유함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  4. 제1 또는 2항에 있어서, SO2가스/액체 접촉지역으로부터 회수되는 풍부화된 티오설페이트/폴리티오네이트 완충수용액이 0∼1.0중량%의 원소황을 함유함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  5. 제1 또는 2항에 있어서, 외부로부터 공급되는 황화수소의 전부가 생성되는 원소황 1몰당 0.03∼0.17몰 황화수소의 화학양론적 과량으로 재생지역에 도입됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, SO2가스/액체 접촉지역에 도입되는 희박한 티오설페이트/폴리티오네이트 완충수용액이 0.05∼1.5몰 농도의 총 티오설페이트 및 폴리티오네이트 이온을 함유함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, SO2가스/액체 접촉지역으로부터 회수되는 풍부화된 티오설페이트/폴리티오네이트 완충수용액이 0.1∼2.0몰 농도의 총 티오설페이트 및 폴리티오네이트 이온을 함유함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  8. 제2항에 있어서, SO2가스/액체 접촉지역에 도입되는 희박한 티오설페이트/폴리티오네이트 완충수용액이 pH 3.5∼5.5임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, SO2가스/액체 접촉지역이 복수의 접촉단을 갖는 흡수기로 구성되어 있고 회수되는 황화수소가 2이상의 접촉단에 도입됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 회수되는 황화수소가 흡수기에 유입하는 액체와 혼입됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  11. 제1 또는 2항에 있어서, SO2가스/액체 접촉지역이 38℃∼66℃의 온도로 운전되며, 재생지역이 57℃∼77℃의 온도로 운전됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
