제2도∼제16도는 각각 상기 실시예에서의 확대문자패턴 또는 변형문자패턴을 얻기 위한 돗트보간처리수단을 설명하기 위한 것으로, 제2도(a) 내지 (f)는 각각 돗트보간처리에 생성되는 새로운 돗트로 둘러싸여진 1격자 4점의 돗트정보(돗트패턴)와 보간테이블 ROM에 설정된 보간값의 레벨구분 및 테이블 형태와의 관계를 나타내는 예시도.
제3도는 테이블형태의 선택절환동작 설명도.

Claims (2)

  1. 소정의 돗트매트릭스로 구성된 문자패턴을 확대 내지는 변형처리하도록 된 패턴처리수단과, 상기 패턴처리수단에 의해 얻어진 패턴의 세로방향 돗트수가 이미지라인버퍼의 세로방향폭보다 커졌을 경우에 소정의 돗트폭 단위를 갖는 존으로 나누어서 이미지전개시키도록 된 수단을 구비하고 있는 프린터 제어장치에 있어서, 인자출력되는 문자 패턴이 존으로 분할되어 있는지의 여부를 판별하는 수단과, 상기 판별수단의 판별결과중 존으로 분할되어 있지 않은 문자패턴을 인자 출력하는 경우에는 양방향 인자모우드를 지정하고 존으로 분할된 문자패턴을 인자출력하는 경우에는 단일방향 인자모우드를 지정하도록된 수단을 갖추고서, 인자출력되는 문자패턴이 복수의 존으로 구성된 경우에는 단일방향인자에 의한 인자처리를 하고 인자출력되는 문자패턴이 단일존으로 구성된 경우에는 양방향인자에 의한 인자처리를 하도록 된것을 특징으로 하는 프린터 제어장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 양방향 인자모우드/단일방향 인자 모우드를 임의로 지정하도록 된 인자모우드 설정 수단을 갖추고서 상기 설정수단의 설정상태가 양방향 인자모우드일 때에만 상기 존의 수에 구애받지 않고 양방향인자에 의한 인자처리를 하도록 된 것을 특징으로 하는 프린터 제어장치.
