Claims (4)

  1. 단일문자 기록용으로 복수의 영역을 구비하고 있는 공간적인 자획인식장치를 사용하여 복잡한 수기문자를 인식함에 있어서, 제1문자셋트를 표시하는 신호를 기록도구안에 있는 영역중 제1영역에 입력시키는 과정과, 제2문자셋트를 표시하는 신호를 기록도구안에 있는 영역중 제2영역에 입력시키는 과정과, 제1문자셋트와 제2문자셋트를 변별하기 위하여 제1영역과 제2영역으로 입력되는 신호를 감지하는 과정을 통하여 복잡한 수기문자를 식별하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 제1영역은 적어도 제2영역내에 있는 제1구역을 포함하고, 감지과정은 제1문자셋트를 검출하기 위하여 제1구역의 외측에 있는 제2구역내의 입력신호를 검출하는 과정을 포함하는 수기 문자의 식별방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 제2영역은 전체가 제1구역에 포함되고 감지과정은 제2문자셋트를 검출하기 위하여 제2구역내 입력신호의 부재를 검출하는 과정을 포함하는 수기문자의 식별방법.
