제1도는 종래의 절단을 할 경우의 절단기의 단면도. 제2도는 종래의 절단 방법으로 피복 제거 끝의 수 mm의 위치에서 절단할 경우의 절단기의 단면도. 제3도는 본 발명의 방법으로 피복제거 끝에서 수 mm의 위치에서 절단하는 경우의 절단기의 단면도이다.

- 광파이버에 미세한 금을 낸 다음, 장력 및 굽힘을 주어서 광 파이버를 경면(鏡面)으로 절단하는 기구, 또는 장력 및 굽힘을 준 다음 미세한 금을 내어서 광 파이버를 경면으로 절단하는 기구를 가지는 광 파이버 절단기로, 1차 및 2차 피복이 있는 광 파이버를 절단할 때, 최소한 파단점 근방에는 1차 피복을 제거하지 않고 그대로 절단하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 파이버 절단방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
