Claims (1)

  1. 산화 기체류내에 함유된 예비 가열된 산소 및 예비 가열된 티타늄 테트라클로라이드 함유류를 반응시킴으로써 티타늄 테트라클로라이드를 고온 산화시킴에 의하여 티타늄 디옥사이드를 제조하는 방법에 있어서,
    (a) 산화 기체류를 800℃-1600℃로 예비 가열하고,
    (b) 티타늄 테트라클로라이드 함유류를 250℃-500℃로 예비가열한 후,
    (c) 산화될 티타늄 테트라클로라이드의 1%-75%의 해당하는 양을 산화 기체류에 첨가하여서,
    (d) 산화 반응을 형성하고,
    (e) 산화될 티타늄 테트라클로라이드의 나머지 99%-25%를 단일 공급역 또는 다수 공급역에서 반응류에 첨가하여서,
    (f) 산화 반응을 형성하고,
    (g) 생성된 TiO2를 냉각 및 포집하는 방식으로 이루어지는 티타늄 테트라클로라이드의 개량 산화법.
