본 고안은 케이스 본체의 한쪽, 즉 줄자의 인출쪽의 측면 가까운 곳에 기다란 쪽으로 이동하는 정지편과 그 유도부를 설치하고 정지편은 언제나 줄자쪽으로 향하여 압접되어 있지만 이것과 단부(段部)에서 서로 계합하는 누름단추의 조작에 의하여 자를 해방시켜서 이것을 자유롭게 할 수 있도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 정지편이 달린 줄자에 간한 것이다. 이하 도면에 의하여 실시예를 설명하면 (1)은 케이스본체, (2)(3)은 그 한쪽 즉, 자의 인출쪽에 가깝게 설치한 각 1쌍의 볼록벽(壁)으로 정지편(4)의 유도부를 형성하고 그 유도부의 중간에 긴쪽으로 이동할 수 있도록 위치된 정지편(4)의 한쪽끝 즉, 자와 면쪽의 끝에는 볼록축(軸)(5)을 형성하고, 여기에 스프링(6)을 설치하여 정지편(4)이 항상 줄자를 향해서 압접하도록 한다.
