Abstract
Approx. 40 anthelmintics (I; R1 = lower alkyl,R2, R3 = H, OH, alkoxy, carbalkoxy, R4 = H, Cl, X = O, S) were prepd. via refluxing 2,1,4-benzothi-adiazoline(II) with acid or (C6H5)3P in THF, at pH<=4, at 15-60≰C. Condensation of amino-nitrodiph-enylether (or thioether) and alkyl-isothiocyanate-formiate gave O_nitrophenyl-thionocarbamoyl-carbamate(III) which was followed by redn. of III with dithionite of alkali metal in alkali solution to give II.
