Description

갈색 거저리 분말을 포함하는 관상어용 사료 조성물{A feed composition for ornamental fish comprising powder of tenebrio molitor}A feed composition for ornamental fish comprising powder of tenebrio molitor}

The present invention relates to an ornamental fish feed containing brown mealworm powder and a method for producing the same.

Ornamental fish (觀賞魚) is a general term for fish raised to enjoy watching, including goldfish, tropical fish and nishikigoi, and there are various types other than these.

In particular, since ornamental fish of tropical fish and seawater almost depend on expensive imports, it is good to manage them so that they can grow healthy and beautiful by paying attention to maintaining clean water quality and preventing diseases. In ornamental fish, especially fry, when essential growth factors are lacking, secretion of mucus, which is the protective film of the skin, is lacking, and bacteria can easily penetrate into the body through the tip of the fin, which is the weakest part of the fish body, causing various diseases and abnormalities in the heart system. Based on this, it adsorbs water in a short time, becomes soft, and quickly reacts to digestion and absorption. Protein, fat, carbohydrates, etc. can be easily energized, as well as new products that are difficult to synthesize as catalysts and require advanced technology. Invention is focused on mass production of products.

Due to the drastic decrease in the production of fishmeal used in fish feed and the simultaneous price increase, the need for alternative raw materials used in feed is being seriously considered.

For this reason, artificial breeding of insects is used as a major strategy to solve protein feed sources in many countries.

Corydoras is a representative ornamental fish of the small catfish family belonging to the catfish order Callichtis family.

Corydoras is a tropical ornamental fish that prefers neutral water to slightly acidic water quality. Considering that the main living layer is the bottom, it is better to use sedimentary feed suitable for the size of the mouth rather than floating or easily broken feed such as floating feed or flake feed. salary is preferred.

Accordingly, the present inventors completed the present invention by preparing a cost-effective feed suitable for breeding ornamental fish such as Corydoras using brown mealworm powder.

[Example 1] Sedimentation and flotation test of prepared feed

In order to prepare a feed that can be easily ingested by ornamental fish of the genus Corydoras, sized and tableted feeds were prepared and sedimentation and floating properties were tested, respectively.

As shown in FIG. 2, it was confirmed that the tableted pellet-type feed prepared in Preparation Example 1 did not decompose well in water and was excellent in sedimentation, so that it was suitable as a feed for ornamental fish of the genus Corydoras.

[Example 3] Corydoras breeding rate analysis through feed feeding

Corydoras spawning rates according to feed feeding by brown mealworm addition ratio were compared in the environment of Table 2 above using compressed pellet-type feed.

As a result, as shown in Table 4, the highest egg laying rate was confirmed in the 5% addition group of brown mealworm larvae powder, and the lowest fertility rate was shown in the 10% addition group. The control group to which nothing was added showed the lowest egg-laying rate of 36%, but it showed a higher fertilization rate of 38.9% than the other two experimental groups. However, the survival rate of the hatched fry was 0%, confirming the mortality of the fry. Spawning could be induced when adult fish were ingested in the control group where no brown mealworm larvae powder was added, but it could be assumed that the fry lacked nutrients necessary for growth.

In addition, despite the lowest fertilization rate of 10.8% in the experimental group to which 10% brown mealworm larvae powder was added, it was confirmed that the survival rate of fry was the highest at 85.7%. could be interpreted

[Example 4] Stability test of feed

As a result of continuous monitoring of the feed prepared according to the above preparation example for one month, mold was not detected (FIG. 3). As a result of measuring the moisture content in the feed, it was confirmed that the moisture content was very low at 3.6%, and it was confirmed that the moisture area was unavailable to microorganisms and molds (FIG. 3). It is recommended that the moisture content in the feed is less than 14%, and 8 to 10% of moisture is said to be safe. Therefore, products with a moisture content of less than 4% are considered safe.

[Example 5] Comparison of preference of feed for official fish of the genus Corydoras

Feed palatability tests were conducted for fish species according to each country and habitat area. As for the preference measurement method, 2 g of feed was quantified and fed to fish species by habitat, and the time to eat all the food and the remaining amount were measured by comparing with products sold by each manufacturer. As a control group, a feed containing 5% of brown mealworm larvae powder was used, and J company feed (Germany), H company feed (Japan), and T company feed (Korea) were used as experimental groups.

As a result, as shown in Table 5, there was no difference in food response and intake rate according to the habitat area of Corydoras species. The feed of the present invention and the feed of company J with 5% of brown mealworm larvae powder showed 100% palatability, and the product of company H in Japan showed palatability of 57%. On the other hand, the domestically manufactured and commercially available T feed did not confirm the feeding response in any experimental group.
