본 발명은 보습 및 살균력이 우수한 손 소독 핸드크림 조성물에 관한 것이다. 기존의 손 소독을 위한 제품에는 대부분 글리세린이 함유되어 있는데 에탄올과 혼합하면 피부를 건조하게 할 수 있는 단점이 있다. 이에 본 발명자들은 상기 단점을 보완하기 위해 식물성 에탄올에 글리세린을 대체하여 보습력이 뛰어난 유기농 저분자 히알루론산과 제품의 점도를 증가하기 위한 카보머 프리젤의 비율을 최적화하였다. 또한, 핸드크림 응용을 위하여 천연 성분인 호호바오일과 1, 2-헥산디올을 첨가하여 보습력을 높였다. 손 소독제 핸드크림 조성물의 살균력을 측정하기 위해 휴대용 ATP 측정기 (TBD-1000, Korea)를 이용하였다. 측정값은 클린겔 핸드크림 사용 전 측정값 및 클린 겔 핸드크림 사용 후의 측정값이며 손바닥 부위 10 x 10㎠ 넓이에 표면 측정용 시약 봉을 고르게 문지른 후 측정값 RLU (Relative Light Unit)과 클린겔 핸드크림을 바른 후의 RLU을 비교하였다 (도 5A). 이와 같은 방법으로 3명을 대상으로 측정한 그래프에서 보는 바와 같이 오염도 평균 값이 323에서 60.3으로 현저히 줄어드는 것을 확인하여 살균력이 우수한 것을 알 수 있었다(도 5B). 또한, 항균효과를 확인하기 위하여 고체 배지에 황색포도상구균을 배양기(SI-300R, Korea)를 사용하여 37°C에 24시간 배양하였고, 그 결과를 사진으로 나타내었다 (도 6). 손 소독 핸드크림 조성물을 사용 전에는 24시간 경과 후 세균수가 증가하는 것을 확인할 수 있으며, 사용 후에는 세균이 전혀 나타나지 않는 것을 볼 수 있으므로 강한 항균효과가 있다는 것을 확인하였다.
