Abstract

Korean Patent Publication No. 10-2014-0103576 discloses a pearl generating composition containing higher fatty alcohol, hydrogenated lecithin, cholesterol and xanthan gum.

Korean Patent Publication No. 2021-0061116 discloses a cosmetic composition containing pearls in high content, including pearls, spherical powders, oil binders, surfactants and organic thickeners.

Accordingly, the present inventors attempted to develop a low-viscosity solubilized formulation with excellent formulation stability, pearly feeling, and glossiness. An object of the present invention is to provide a soluble cosmetic composition having excellent stability, pearl feeling and glossiness of the formulation by stably dispersing an excess amount of pearl.

The pearl dispersant used in the present invention may be microcrystalline cellulose, cellulose gum, or the like, and may be contained in an amount of 0.1 to 1% by weight based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition. If the pearl dispersant is less than 0.1% by weight, the pearls are not properly dispersed, so the pearls sink when observed over time, and if it exceeds 1% by weight, the formulation is suspended and the feeling of use is stiff, which is not suitable.

The pearl component used in the present invention may be synthetic mica, natural mica, calcium sodium borosilicate, calcium aluminum borosilicate or the like. The pearl component may contain 1 to 10% by weight based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition. Experimental Example 1: Viscosity test
