Abstract
Description

Claims (13)
- 중합 반응기 또는 일련의 중합 반응기에서의 현탁 중합에서 에틸렌 중합체를 제조하는 프로세스로서,
중합 촉매의 존재 하에서 40 내지 150℃의 온도 및 0.1 내지 20 MPa의 압력에서 에틸렌을 중합하거나 에틸렌 및 하나 이상의 C3-C12-1-알켄을 공중합하고 탄화수소 희석액을 포함하는 현탁 매질 내에서 에틸렌 중합체 입자의 현탁액을 형성하는 단계,
상기 에틸렌 중합체 입자의 현탁액을 고체-액체 분리기 내로 이송하는 단계로서, 상기 현탁액은 에틸렌 중합체 입자 및 모액으로 분리되는, 단계,
상기 모액의 일부를 상기 모액의 왁스-고갈 부분을 생산하기 위한 증발 유닛을 포함하는 워크 업(work-up) 섹션 내로 이송하는 단계로서, 상기 워크 업 섹션 내로 이송되는 상기 모액의 일부에 프로톤성 제제(protic agent)를 첨가하는 단계, 및
상기 모액의 왁스-고갈 부분의 적어도 일부를 상기 중합 반응기 또는 상기 일련의 중합 반응기로 재순환시키는 단계를 포함하는, 프로세스. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 프로톤성 제제는 물, 알코올, 산 또는 이들의 혼합물인, 프로세스.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 프로톤성 제제는 물이고, 상기 물은 스팀으로서 또는 유기 또는 무기 화합물의 수용액으로서 액체 형태로 첨가되는, 프로세스.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 워크 업 섹션 내로 이송될 모액과, 첨가된 프로톤성 제제의 혼합물은 상기 워크 업 섹션으로 들어가기 전에 혼합 디바이스를 통과하는, 프로세스.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 혼합 디바이스는 인라인 혼합기, 제트 혼합기, 혼합 노즐, 하이드로사이클론, 혼합 요소가 구비된 용기, 회전자/고정자 혼합기 또는 균질화기 또는 유화기인, 프로세스.
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 예열기로서 작동하는 열 교환기는 상기 증발 유닛의 상류에 설치되고, 상기 워크 업 섹션 내로 이송된 모액과, 첨가된 프로톤성 제제의 혼합물은 상기 증발 유닛으로 들어가기 전에 이 열 교환기를 통과하는, 프로세스.
- 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 증발 유닛은 열 교환기 및 분리 용기를 포함하는 순환 증발 유닛이고, 상기 순환 증발 유닛은 증발될 액체상을 상기 열 교환기 내에 공급하고, 상기 열 교환기에서 상기 액체상을 부분적으로 기화시키고, 생성된 액체 및 증기 혼합물을 상기 분리 용기로 되돌아오게 함으로써 작동하는, 프로세스.
- 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 증발 유닛에서 생산된 상기 모액의 왁스-고갈 부분은 상기 중합 반응기 또는 상기 일련의 중합 반응기로 재순환되기 전에 증류 프로세스를 추가로 거치는, 프로세스.
- 제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 저비점 성분이 고갈된 상기 모액의 왁스 함유 부분은 상기 증발 유닛으로부터 배출되고 직접 스팀 증류에 의해 작동하는 왁스 제거 유닛으로 이송되는, 프로세스.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 왁스 제거 유닛은 응축된 다음, 액체-액체 분리기 내에서, 수성상 및 탄화수소상으로 분리되는 가스상 탄화수소/스팀 혼합물을 생산하고, 상기 탄화수소상은 상기 증발 유닛으로 재순환되는, 프로세스.
- 제1항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 제조된 에틸렌 중합체는 멀티모달 에틸렌 공중합체인, 프로세스.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 에틸렌 중합체의 제조는 일련의 중합 반응기에서 수행되고, 에틸렌 단독중합체는 상기 중합 반응기 중 하나에서 제조되는, 프로세스.
- 제12항에 있어서, 상기 에틸렌 단독중합체는 상기 일련의 중합 반응기 중 제1 중합 반응기에서 제조되며, 에틸렌의 공중합체는 후속 중합 반응기에서 제조되는, 프로세스.
