Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a membrane type liquefied gas insulation system constructed inside a liquefied gas cargo hold or fuel tank provided on a liquefied gas carrier or the like.
Natural gas is transported in gaseous form through onshore or offshore gas pipelines or stored in LNG carriers as liquefied natural gas (hereinafter 'LNG') and transported to remote consumers. LNG is obtained by cooling natural gas to a cryogenic temperature (about -163°C), and its volume is reduced to about 1/600 of that of gaseous natural gas, so it is very suitable for long-distance transportation by sea.
In offshore structures for transporting or storing LNG, such as an LNG carrier for loading and unloading LNG to an onshore destination by navigating the sea, a specially designed storage tank (often called a ‘cargo hold’) that can safely store cryogenic LNG for a considerable period of time also called) is installed.
LNG storage tanks can be classified into independent type and membrane type depending on whether the load of cargo acts directly on the insulation. In general, membranous storage tanks have a double sealing structure in which a secondary insulation layer, a secondary barrier, a primary insulation layer, and a primary barrier are sequentially stacked on the inner wall of the hull. There is this.
The NO 96 type storage tank consists of insulation boxes in which the primary and secondary insulating layers are filled with insulating materials such as perlite powder or glass wool inside the plywood box, and each A barrier is formed by installing an invar steel (36% nickel steel) membrane with a thickness of 0.5 to 0.7 mm on the top of the insulation box constituting the insulation layer.
In this NO 96 type storage tank, the primary and secondary barriers have almost the same level of liquid-tightness and strength, so in the event of leakage of the primary barrier, only the secondary barrier can safely support cargo for a considerable period of time, and it is composed of an insulated box. The insulating layer to be used can have high compressive strength and rigidity, and has the advantage of high welding automation rate.
On the other hand, the MARK Ⅲ type storage tank is composed of insulation panels in which the insulation layer is formed by bonding wood plywood to the upper or lower surface of polyurethane foam (PUF), and the upper portion of the primary insulation layer is approximately 1.2 mm thick. A first barrier is formed by installing a stainless steel (SUS) membrane of
This MARK Ⅲ type storage tank has the advantage of excellent insulation effect of insulation panels based on polyurethane foam insulation, but the insulation panel has flexible properties and is vulnerable to thermal deformation or hull deformation. As such, it is difficult to apply an Inba steel membrane with a small coefficient of heat shrinkage. Therefore, in the MARK Ⅲ type storage tank, a stainless steel membrane with corrugated corrugations is applied as the primary barrier to form an insulation system to absorb the deformation of the membrane.
In addition, since the corrugated membrane is not easy to install between the insulating layers disposed on top and bottom due to its structural characteristics (there is a difficulty in construction due to interference between the corrugation of the membrane and the insulating layer), in the current MARK Ⅲ type storage tank, a tree instead of a metal membrane A secondary barrier is constructed using a flex, but this structure has a disadvantage in that the primary and secondary barriers are both vulnerable to airtightness compared to an insulating system made of a metal material.
An object of the present invention is, in a liquefied gas cargo hold or fuel tank provided in a liquefied gas carrier, etc., the primary and secondary insulation layers are composed of insulation panels with excellent thermal insulation performance, and both the primary and secondary barriers are made of metal membranes. By enabling application, it is intended to provide a membrane type liquefied gas insulation system that can secure superior performance compared to the existing ones in terms of both insulation and airtightness.
In addition, the present invention makes it possible to use the insulating panels constituting the primary and secondary insulating layers in the same manner without dividing the insulating layers, thereby greatly improving the workability from the viewpoint of manufacturing and installation, shortening the drying period and reducing the price. Another object of the present invention is to provide a membrane type liquefied gas insulation system that can secure a competitive edge.
For reference, in the drawings attached to the specification, it is revealed that some components may be excluded from the illustration or the sizes of components may be exaggerated so that the structure of the insulation system can be clearly understood. Specifically, in FIG. 1, the configuration of the
Referring to the accompanying drawings, the liquefied gas insulation system according to the present invention is a secondary
The insulation layers 100 and 300 are the main insulation functions in the present insulation system, that is, to prevent heat intrusion from the outside of the storage container, and are installed between the inner wall surface H of the storage container and the
Referring to FIG. 2 , the
In the insulation panel (110/310), the insulation performance and the load bearing function in the thickness direction of the insulation layers (100, 300) are mainly contributed by the glass fiber reinforced polyurethane foam, which is the core material (111/311). In consideration of the temperature and load conditions applied to the wall, materials suitable for insulation and load support can be selected and selected. can utilize That is, the
In addition, as the
In this thermal insulation system, the primary
In addition, in the present thermal insulation system, the primary
That is, in the present insulation system, the
At this time, in consideration of the temperature and load conditions applied to each wall surface of the storage container constituting the liquefied gas cargo hold or fuel tank, the type or physical properties (density, etc.) of the material constituting the
In addition, the shape of the
In the accompanying drawings, the width and length of the
In addition, in the case of an insulation system having a shape of a double insulation layer divided up and down like this insulation system, if the densities of the upper and lower insulation panels are differently formed, the load is concentrated on the side with the lower density, which may cause a larger deformation. , in the present invention, the size as well as the physical properties of the
On the other hand, in the present invention, the fixing method of the primary insulating
That is, the present invention provides the
Specifically, the
Looking at the installation and fixing structure of each
At this time, the stud bolts provided on the inner wall surface (H) of the storage container fix the four corner portions of the
In the case of the first
Referring to FIGS. 1 and 6 , a disk-shaped
Although not specifically shown in the drawings, the stud bolts provided on the inner wall surface (H) of the storage container or the
For reference, the reason that the fixing
In addition, the fixing
As described above, in the present thermal insulation system, the primary insulating
That is, in the liquefied gas insulation system according to the present invention, the
On the other hand, as a prior art, a whole semicircle or fan-shaped groove is cut out and processed in the corner or corner portion of the primary insulation panel, and a technical configuration for fixing the corners or corner portions of adjacent primary insulation panels at the same time is known. there is. According to this prior art, the grooves processed in the corners or corners of the primary insulating panel for fastening with the fixing member occupy a considerable area when viewed as a whole of the primary insulating layer, thereby weakening the load bearing capacity of the insulating layer in the corresponding part, and There was a disadvantage that additional finishing construction for insulation in the empty space had to be done excessively.
However, in this thermal insulation system, since the through-hole 314 is formed in the inner corner of the corner portion of the primary
In this insulation system, the
The liquefied gas insulation system according to the present invention is mainly characterized by using a membrane made of a metal material as the primary and
The primary and
Preferably, the primary and
More preferably, in the present thermal insulation system, the primary and
The corrugations formed in the
In this thermal insulation system, the wrinkles formed on the
Here, the wrinkles formed on the
In order to solve this problem, the present invention forms the gap between the wrinkles formed in the
That is, the present insulation system allows the wrinkles formed in the
Liquefied gas insulation system according to the present invention, the secondary
In this case, as described above, in this thermal insulation system, both the secondary
That is, in the present insulation system, the
However, the present invention is not limited thereto, and as will be described later, the shape or installation position of the
Hereinafter, specific structures of the secondary
Referring to FIGS. 1 and 7 to 10 , the secondary
The secondary
The secondary
The end of the
When the
Only the end of the
On the other hand, in the present insulation system, the
For example, referring to FIG. 10 , when the
1 and 11 to 15 , the primary
Similar to that described in the secondary
In addition, the end portion of the
However, in the case of the
The
In addition, only the end of the
The
Surail strips 612 coupled to one
In addition, the
The primary
Similar to the
In addition, the
On the other hand, since the wrinkles formed on the
In addition, in the case of the
As described above, in the liquefied gas insulation system according to the present invention, the end of the
In the known prior art, the thermal contraction behavior of the membrane and the insulating panel is subordinated by welding the membrane on an anchor strip mechanically fixed on the insulating panel. Therefore, a slit is processed for the purpose of preventing stress concentration due to heat shrinkage on the insulation panel, and a method of matching the position of the slit with the wrinkle position of the membrane is applied.
On the other hand, in this thermal insulation system, the behavior of the respective thermal insulation layers 100 and 300 and the
Hereinafter, with reference to FIG. 6 , the structure of the heat insulating
The insulation
At this time, a part (vertex portion) of the
The fixing
The fixing
In the above example, the
On the other hand, provided between the primary insulating
The present insulation system intends to propose a structure in which the
As the
In this thermal insulation system, the
In particular, as described above, the present insulation system has a structure in which the
Referring to FIG. 16 , the
In addition, as shown in FIG. 17, by attaching a material with high elasticity in the form of wool to either one or both surfaces of the upper and lower surfaces of the
18 and 19, the structure in which the
Referring to FIG. 18 , in consideration of the fact that the lower wrinkle of the
Although the thickness of the
Referring to FIG. 19 , since the
However, the installation structures of the
According to the structure of the present invention in which the
In addition, since the present invention can supplement the space generated within the insulation system by arranging the
On the other hand, in the present insulation system, between the
The present invention provides two types of gap insulators (800, 900) according to whether a load bearing function is required for the space generated between the insulating panels (110, 310).
First, referring to FIGS. 20 and 21 , the boundary between the secondary insulating
That is, in the gap between the secondary insulating
The insulating-
When the insulating
In the above, it has been described as a preferred embodiment that the heat insulating
Next, referring to FIG. 22 , at the boundary between the primary insulating
That is, when the flat portion of the
The support-
In the above, it has been described as a preferred embodiment that the support-
