Abstract

The present invention relates to a stick-type oil-in-water emulsion clay cosmetic mask composition and, more specifically, to a stick-type oil-in-water emulsion clay cosmetic mask composition with excellent product stability and low skin irritation. According to the present invention, the stick-type oil-in-water emulsion clay cosmetic mask composition comprises sodium stearate, an oil phase hardness former, an aqueous phase hardness former, an emulsion stabilizer, a bulking agent, an oil phase part, a pH adjuster, and an aqueous phase part, wherein the oil phase hardness former is polyethylene wax, paraffin, and microcrystalline wax and the emulsion stabilizer is microcrystalline cellulose and cellulose gum. Accordingly, a bulking agent, a specific component of an oil phase hardness former, and an emulsion stabilizer are added to a composition containing a sodium stearate solidifying agent in a specific ratio, so that the stick-type oil-in-water emulsion clay cosmetic mask composition is stabilized as an oil-in-water type, thereby providing excellent stability against pH and moisture loss and excellent application and drying speed.
