Abstract

Description
본 발명은 적층 글레이징들의 분야, 보다 특히 자동차 적층 글레이징들 분야에 관한 것으로, 특히 자동차 앞유리(windshield)들 또는 측면창들로서 사용된다.
적층 글레이징들은 파손시 유리 파편을 유지할 수 있는 능력을 갖는 적층 중간층에 의해 2개의 유리 시트들이 접착제로 함께 접착된 글레이징들이다. 적층 중간층은 다른 기능들, 예를 들어 침입 저항, 방음, 단열 등의 기능들을 수행할 수 있다. 적층 중간층은 일반적으로 적층 처리 하는 동안 연화될 수 있고 유리 시트들에 부착될 수 있는, 폴리비닐 부티랄로 제조된 적어도 하나의 폴리머 시트를 포함한다.

이 글레이징에서, 제2 유리 시트는 바람직하게는 차량의 승객실 내부에 위치되도록 의도된 내부 시트이다.
광 투과율은 표준 ISO 11664-2에 의해 정의된 광원 A와 표준 ISO 11664-1에 의해 정의된 CIE 1931 기준 관찰자(2°)를 고려하여 유리 시트 또는 고려된 글레이징에 생성된 실험 스펙트럼으로부터 계산된다. 직접 태양 투과율은 표준 ISO 9050 : 2003에 따라 결정된다.
"투명 유리"라는 표현은 2 mm 두께에 대해 광 투과율이 적어도 90%인 유리를 의미하는 것으로 이해된다. 투명 유리들은 일반적으로 최대 0.15 %, 특히 0.1 % 및 심지어 0.08 %의 총 철의 중량 함량을 함유한다. 그러나, 유리의 용융에 사용되는 천연 원료들은 철 불순물들을 함유하고 더 적은 함량들은 특히 고가의 원료들의 사용을 요구할 것이기 때문에, 투명 유리들의 총 철의 중량 함량은 일반적으로 적어도 0.01 %이다. 투명 유리는 일반적으로 철 이외의 착색제들을 함유하지 않는다; 특히, 피할 수 없는 불순물들을 제외하고, 코발트 산화물, 산화크로뮴, 셀레늄, 산화구리, 산화니켈 및 희토류 원소들의 산화물들을 바람직하게는 함유하지 않는다.
두께 e1 및 e2 및 이의 비 R의 선택은 자갈 충격에 대해 바람직한 저항 및 또한 우수한 광학 및 에너지 특성을 수득하는데 특히 중요하다는 것이 입증되었다.
두께 e2는 바람직하게는 최대 1.8 mm, 특히 1.7 mm, 또는 1.6 mm 및 심지어 1.5 mm이다. 두께 e2는 바람직하게는 적어도 0.5 mm, 특히 0.6 mm, 또는 0.7 mm, 심지어 0.8 mm 또는 0.9 mm이다. 두께 e2는 바람직하게는 0.5 내지 1.7 mm의 범위 내에 있다.

글레이징은 바람직하게는 제1 시트, 제2 시트 및 적층 중간층으로 구성되지만, 이들 구성 요소들 중 하나가 후술하는 바와 같이 층들 또는 층들의 스택들로 코팅되는 것을 배제하지 않는다.
글레이징은 바람직하게는 휘어져 있다. 이를 달성하기 위해, 2개의 유리 시트들은 적층 중간층에 의해 조립되기 전에 일반적으로 함께 구부러진다. 구부러짐은 통상적으로 550 내지 650 ℃ 범위의 온도에서 공지된 방식, 예를 들어 중력(자체 중량에 따라 변형되는 유리) 또는 가압에 의해 수행될 수 있다.
글레이징이 휘어질 때, 제2 유리 시트는 유리하게는 글레이징의 내부 시트, 즉 글레이징의 오목한 면 상에 위치된다; 이 시트는 차량의 승객실 내부에 배치되도록 의도되었다. 이어서 제1 유리 시트는 글레이징의 볼록한 면에 위치한 외부 시트이다; 이 시트는 차량의 승객실 외부에 위치하도록 의도되었다.
적층은 또한 오토클레이브 처리에 의해, 예를 들어 110 내지 160 ℃의 온도 및 10 내지 15bar의 압력 하에서 공지된 방식으로 수행될 수 있다. 오토클레이브 처리 전에, 유리 시트들 및 적층 중간층 사이에 포획된 공기는 캘린더링(calendering) 또는 진공(vacuum)에 의해 제거될 수 있다.
자갈 충격에 대한 저항을 향상하기 위해, 제 1유리 시트는 바람직하게는 기계적으로 강화되지 않은 유리로 만들어진다. 따라서 이 경우에 제 1유리 시트는 강화되거나 경화되지 않는다. "기계적으로 강화되지 않은"이라는 표현은 유리 시트의 표면에 높은 압축 응력들을 생성하기 위해 유리 시트가 화학적 강화 또는 강제 냉각 수단을 사용하여 강화되지 않았다는 것을 의미하는 것으로 이해된다. 그러나, 이 정의(definition)는 사이클 시간을 고려 또는 형태 응력들을 수득하기 위해 통상적으로 사용되거나 필수적인 냉각 수단을 사용할 가능성을 배제하지 않는다. 자동차 글레이징을 형성하는 공정 동안, 실제로는 사이클 시간을 고려 및 가장자리의 파손에 대한 저항을 증가하기 위해 글레이징의 주변부를 압축 하에 배치함으로써 형태 응력들을 발생하기 위해 그것(자동차 글레이징)의 형성 후 유리를 냉각시킬 것을 필요로 한다. 따라서 "기계적으로 강화되지 않음"이라는 표현은 가장자리 응력들의 존재를 배제하지 않는다.
기계적으로 강화되지 않은 유리는 잔류 코어 인장 응력이 최대 12MPa, 특히 5MPa 또는 2MPa가 되도록 하는 것이 바람직하다. 이러한 응력 값들은 특히 굽힘 후 초당 최대 1℃의 냉각 속도, 보다 구체적으로 굽힘로의 출구 및 유리의 온도가 어닐링 온도에 해당하는 영역 사이에서 수득된다. 잔류 응력의 측정은 특히 글레이징으로부터 절단한 10 mm × 50 mm의 평행 육면체 시험편을 적층 중간층으로부터 제1유리 시트를 분리하여 예를 들어 150 내지 200 ℃의 온도에서 시험편을 열처리함으로써 수득된 시험편을 이어서 유리 시트의 두께에서 응력들을 측정함으로써 수행된다. 응력들의 측정은 예를 들어 H. Aben, C. Guillemet (1993) Springer Verlag의 "Photoelasticity of Glass" 책 8장에 설명된 비아소그래프(biasographe)를 사용하여 수행할 수 있다.
제2유리 시트는 기계적으로 강화되지 않거나 반대로 강화 유리로 제조될 수 있다.
그래도 자갈 충격에 대한 저항을 향상하기 위해, 제 2유리 시트는 유리하게는 화학적으로 강화되는데, 사용된 얇은 두께들이 열적 강화를 어렵게 하기 때문이다. 화학적 강화(또한 "이온 교환"이라고함)는 유리의 표면을 용융된 소금들(예를 들어 질산 칼륨)의 욕조와 접촉시켜 유리로부터 이온들을 더 큰 이온 반경의 이온들(예를 들어 칼륨 이온들)로 교환함으로써 유리(예를 들어 나트륨 이온들)의 표면을 강화하는 것에 특징이 있다. 이러한 이온 교환은 사실상 유리 표면에서 일정한 두께에 걸쳐 압축 응력들을 형성하는 것을 가능하게 한다. 바람직하게는, 표면 응력은 적어도 300MPa, 특히 400 내지 심지어 500MPa, 그리고 최대 700MPa, 그리고 압축 구역의 두께는 적어도 20 ㎛, 전형적으로 20 내지 50 ㎛이다. 응력 프로파일은 바비네 보정기(Babinet compensator)가 장착된 편광 현미경을 사용하여 공지된 방식으로 결정될 수 있다.
제1 시트는 바람직하게는 소다 라임 실리카 유리로 구성된다.
소다 라임 실리카 유리는 실리카를 구성 산화물로 그리고 나트륨 및 칼슘 산화물들을 개질제 산화물들로 함유하는 유리를 의미하는 것으로 이해된다. 소다 라임 실리카 유리는 바람직하게는 60 내지 78%의 실리카(SiO2), 10 내지 16 %의 소다(Na2O) 및 5 내지 15 %의 라임(CaO)을 포함하는 화학 조성을 갖는다. 전술한 바와 같이, 이 소다 라임 실리카 유리는 바람직하게는 기계적으로 강화되지 않는다.
일 실시예에 따르면, 제2 시트는 또한 소다 라임 실리카 유리로 구성된다. 이 경우, 두께 e2는 바람직하게는 적어도 0.6 mm이다. 제2시트는 바람직하게는 기계적으로 강화되지 않은 유리로 만들어진다.
그러나, 다른 유형들의 유리, 특히 보로실리케이트, 알루미노실리케이트 또는 알루미노 보로실리케이트 유리들이 사용될 수 있다.
또 다른 실시예에 따르면, 제2 유리 시트는 특히 알루미노실리케이트 유리, 특히 나트륨 알루미노실리케이트 유리로 구성된다. 이어서 유리는 바람직하게는 화학적으로 강화된다. 두께 e2는 이 경우 유리하게는 최대 0.7 mm, 또는 0.6 mm, 특히 0.4 내지 0.55 mm의 범위 내에 있다.
나트륨 알루미노실리케이트 유리는 바람직하게는 55 내지 73 중량%의 SiO2, 2 내지 20 중량%의 Al2O3 및 9 내지 17 중량%의 Na2O를 포함한다. 나트륨 알루미노실리케이트 유리는 추가로 바람직하게는 2 내지 11 중량%의 MgO, 0 내지 10 중량%의 K20, 3 중량% 미만의 CaO 및 10 중량% 미만, 특히 5 중량% 미만의 B2O3로 포함한다.

SiO2: 60-73 %, 특히 63-71 %; Al2O3: 2-8 %, 특히 3-6 %; MgO: 6-11 %, 특히 7-10 %; Na2O: 10-17 %, 특히 11-16 %; K2O: < 2 %, 특히 < 1 %; CaO: 0-3 %, 특히 1-2 %; B2O3: < 2 %, 특히 < 1 %.
Fe2O3의 형태로 표현된, 채색 유리의 철의 총 중량 함량은 바람직하게는 적어도 1.2 %, 특히 1.3 %이다. 채색 유리의 철의 총 중량은 바람직하게는 최대 1.9 %, 특히 1.8 %이다. 채색 유리의 철의 총 중량은 바람직하게는 1.3 내지 1.8 %, 특히 1.3 내지 1.5 % 또는 1.5 내지 1.7 %의 범위 내에 있다.
채색 유리의 산화 환원 비는 바람직하게는 적어도 0.24, 특히 0.25이다. 그것은 바람직하게는 최대 0.31, 특히 0.30, 또는 0.29 또는 0.28이다. 산화 환원 비는 바람직하게는 0.24 내지 0.29, 특히 0.25 내지 0.28, 0.25 내지 0.27의 범위 내에 있다.

채색 유리는 바람직하게는 산화철 또는 산화티타늄 이외의 착색제들을 함유하지 않는다. 후자(산화티타늄)는 특정 원료들에 빈번하게 함유된 불순물이며 유리를 가볍게 채색하는데 기여할 수 있다. 산화티타늄의 함량은 일반적으로 최대 0.1% 또는 0.06%이다. 채색 유리는 바람직하게는 산화코발트, 산화니켈, 산화크롬, 셀레늄, 산화구리, 산화바나듐, 산화망간을 포함하지 않는다. 채색 유리는 바람직하게는 희토류 원소 산화물, 특히 산화세륨을 함유하지 않는다. 일 변형예에 따르면, 채색 유리는 광학적 특성을 조정하기 위해 매우 소량의 상기 언급된 적어도 하나의 착색제를 함유할 수 있다. 이 경우, 산화철 및 산화티타늄 이외의 착색제들의 총 함량은 바람직하게는 최대 40 ppm(1 ppm = 0.0001 %), 특히 30 또는 20 ppm이다.

글레이징의 두께는 바람직하게는 최대 5 mm, 특히 4.5 mm 또는 4 mm이다. 글레이징의 두께는 일반적으로 적어도 2.8 mm, 특히 3 mm이다.
적어도 하나의 유리 시트는 차체 개구부를 고정하는데 사용하는 시일들(seals)을 자외선으로부터 보호하기 위해 유리하게는 그 표면의 일부 위에, 특히 그 주변부에, 에나멜(enamel)층으로 코팅되어 있다.
적어도 하나의 유리 시트는 가열 글레이징을 수득하거나 글레이징의 단열을 추가로 향상하기 위해, 전기 전도성 및/또는 저방사율의 얇은 층들의 스택(stack)으로 적층 중간층을 향한 면 상에 코팅될 수 있다. 이러한 스택은 바람직하게는 적어도 2개의 얇은 유전체층들이 양 측면에 있는 적어도 하나의 얇은 은(silver)층을 포함한다.
적층 중간층은 바람직하게는 적어도 하나의 폴리비닐 아세탈, 특히 폴리비닐 부티랄(PVB) 시트를 포함한다.
적층 중간층은 글레이징의 광학적 또는 열적 특성을 조정하기 위해 필요한 경우 채색되거나 무색일 수 있다.
적층 중간층은 공기 또는 고체 전달음들을 흡수하기 위해 유리하게는 흡음 특성을 가질 수 있다. 이러한 목적을 위해, 적층 중간층은 특히 선택적으로 PVB로만들어지고 외부 시트의 경도보다 더 낮은 경도의 내부 중합체 시트의 양측면에 있는, PVB로 만들어진 2개의 소위 외부 시트들을 포함하여, 3개의 중합체 시트들로 구성될 수 있다.
적층 중간층은 또한 단열 특성, 특히 적외선의 반사 특성을 가질 수 있다. 이러한 목적을 위해, 적층 중간층은 저방사율의 얇은 층들의 코팅, 예를 들어 2개의 외부 PVB 시트들을 양 측면으로 하는 내부 PET 시트 상에 증착된, 얇은 은(silver)층을 포함하는 코팅 또는 상이한 굴절률들이 번갈아 나오는 유전층들의 코팅을 포함할 수 있다.
적층 중간층의 두께는 일반적으로 0.3 내지 1.5 mm, 특히 0.5 내지 1 mm의 범위 내에 있다. 적층 중간층은 헤드업 디스플레이(HUD) 시스템을 사용하는 경우 고스트 이미지의 형성을 방지하기 위해 글레이징의 중심에서보다 글레이징의 가장자리에서 더 얇은 두께를 가질 수 있다.
하기 실시예들은 비제한적인 방식으로 본 발명을 예시한다.
적층 글레이징들은 0.76 mm 두께의 PVB 중간층을 사용하여 2개의 유리 시트들을 공지된 방식으로 적층함으로써 수득하였다.

표면 응력이 400 MPa를 초과하고 압축 두께가 20 ㎛를 초과하도록 화학적으로 강화된 나트륨 알루미노실리케이트 유리.
다른 유리들 A 내지 D는 기계적으로 강화되지 않은 유리들이다.
광 투과율(TL로 표시) 및 직접 태양 투과율(TE로 표시)는 분광 광도법에 의해 수득한 실험 스펙트럼들로부터 계산되었다.
글레이징들의 자갈 충격에 대한 저항은 충격 시험 동안 글레이징의 파손을 일으키는 유리 위에 인덴터(indenter)를 떨어뜨렸을 때의 높이를 측정하여 평가된다. 이어서 등급이 측정된 높이의 함수로 주어진다.
-: 높이 1000 mm 미만
+: 높이 1000 mm 에서 1200 mm 사이
++: 높이 1200 mm 초과

비교용 글레이징 C1은 적합한 직접 태양 투과율 및 또한 적합한 광 투과율을 갖는다. 그러나 그것의 자갈 충격에 대한 저항은 그리 높지 않다. 비교용 글레이징 C2는 자갈 충격에 대한 저항 측면에서 더 우수하지만 열적 특성을 희생하게 된다. 한편, 본 발명 1 내지 15에 따른 글레이징들은 저중량에 대해 기계적 및 열적 요구 사항들 사이에서 우수한 절충안을 보인다.
Claims (15)
- 적층 중간층에 의해 함께 결합된 채색 유리의 제1 시트 및 투명 유리의 제2 시트를 포함하는 적층 글레이징으로서, 상기 제1 시트는 1.5 내지 2.5 mm 범위의 두께 e1을 갖고, 상기 제2 시트는 0.4 내지 1.9 mm 범위의 두께 e2를 가지며, 비율 R = e2 / e1²는 최대 0.40 mm-1이며, 상기 글레이징은 적어도 70 %의 광 투과율 및 최대 55 %의 직접 태양 투과율을 가지며, 상기 채색 유리는 FeO 형태로 표현된 철(Ⅱ)의 중량 함량과 Fe2O3 로 표현된 철의 총 중량 함량 사이의 비율로 정의되는, 0.23 내지 0.32 범위의 산화 환원비를 갖는, Fe2O3 형태로 표현되고 1.1 내지 2.0% 범위의 철의 총 중량을 포함하는 화학적 조성물을 갖는 적층 글레이징.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 두께 e2가 0.5 내지 1.7 mm의 범위 내에 있는 적층 글레이징.
- 제1항 또는 제2항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 비율 R이 최대 0.35, 특히 0.30 mm-1이 되는 적층 글레이징.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 제1 시트는 소다 라임 실리카 유리로 구성되는 적층 글레이징.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 제1 유리 시트는 기계적으로 강화되지 않은 유리로 만들어진 적층 글레이징
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 제2 유리 시트는 화학적으로 강화된 적층 글레이징.
- 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 제2유리 시트는 소다 라임 실리카 유리로 구성되고, 두께 e2는 적어도 0.6 mm인 적층 글레이징.
- 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 제2 유리 시트는 화학적으로 강화된 알루미노실리케이트 유리로 구성되고, 두께 e2는 최대 0.7 mm인 글레이징.
- 제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 채색 유리는 Fe2O3 형태로 표현된 1.3 내지 1.8% 범위의 철의 총 중량 함량을 포함하는 화학 조성물을 갖는 적층 글레이징.
- 제1항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 채색 유리가 산화 환원 비가 0.24 내지 0.29의 범위 내에 있는 화학 조성을 갖는 적층 글레이징.
- 제1항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 적층 글레이징의 직접 태양 투과율이 최대 50 %인 적층 글레이징.
- 제1항 내지 제11항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 적층 글레이징의 두께가 최대 5 mm, 특히 4.5 mm, 또는 심지어 4 mm인 적층 글레이징.
- 제1항 내지 제12항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 적층 중간층이 적어도 하나의 폴리비닐 아세탈 시트, 특히 폴리비닐 부티랄 시트를 포함하는 적층 글레이징.
- 제1항 내지 제13항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 적층 글레이징을 포함하는 운송 차량, 특히 자동차, 특히 앞유리 또는 측면창용 글레이징.
- 제14항에 있어서, 제2 유리 시트는 차량의 승객실 내부에 위치되도록 의도된 내부 시트인 글레이징.
