Abstract
Description
It relates to a composition for forming a solar cell electrode and a solar cell electrode prepared therefrom.
The silicon-based solar cell is composed of a substrate made of a p-type silicon semiconductor and an emitter layer made of an n-type silicon semiconductor. A p-n junction is formed between the p-type substrate and the n-type emitter layer. When sunlight enters a solar cell having such a structure, electrons are generated as a plurality of carriers in an emitter layer made of an n-type silicon semiconductor by photovoltaic effects, and holes are generated as a plurality of carriers in a substrate made of a p-type silicon semiconductor. do. Electrons and electrons generated by the photovoltaic effect move to the front electrode and the back electrode, which are bonded to the top and bottom of the emitter layer, respectively, and when these electrodes are connected by electric wires, current flows. Typically, Ag paste is used to form the front electrode. The electrode paste should be able to secure an increase in solar cell efficiency due to the implementation of an electrode shape capable of maximizing short-circuit current while minimizing line resistance.
Since all of the sunlight incident from the solar cell is not converted into electrical energy, the loss factor must be reduced for a highly efficient solar cell. The loss factor in the solar cell can be roughly classified into optical loss and electrical loss. The optical loss includes reflection on a surface that occurs when sunlight enters, shadow loss due to an electrode, and loss due to sunlight wavelength. A typical solar cell that is currently commercialized forms an electrode on the front side where light is incident. Therefore, when the shadow on the electrode blocks the sunlight, a dead area is created, which is a factor that interferes with the absorption of sunlight, which is called shadowing and is a factor that inhibits solar cell conversion efficiency. In order to eliminate such inhibitors, a method of reducing the electrode line width is considered, but if only the electrode line width is reduced, the ejection characteristics are deteriorated during screen printing of the electrode paste and the middle of the finger line is broken when forming a pattern or detached on the wafer. There was a problem. Accordingly, there has been a movement to improve the discharge characteristics by lowering the viscosity of the electrode paste, but it has been difficult to secure a high aspect ratio after firing.
