Abstract
Description
More particularly, the present invention relates to a preservative composition having a sufficient preservative effect and being safe for human body, and more particularly to a preservative composition suitable for cosmetics and a cosmetic composition containing the same.
Preservatives are added to many products such as foods, medicines, and cosmetics widely used in daily life to prevent changes in internal properties and to preserve them for a certain period of time.
Especially, in various kinds of cosmetics, Preservatives are incorporated in cosmetics. They are used for the purpose of preventing the change of products by inhibiting the growth of microorganisms that contaminate or alter cosmetics from the outside, In order to secure the buoyancy of the room, aseptic manufacturing process is required, complicated means are required such as limiting the amount of contents or the period of use, or making the container specially, and the tendency to lack economical versatility increases.
Some of the materials used as preservatives are derived from natural sources, but mostly chemically synthesized artificial materials are used. Preservatives which are most safely used as conventional preservatives and which are generally used for cosmetics and medicines include, for example, paraoxybenzoic acid esters commonly known as parabens, imidazolidinyl urea, phenoxyethanol, methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, and chlorphenesin. However, even these preservatives of parabens have a problem as skin allergies, environmental hormones, and resistance to bacteria.
As described above, the danger of artificial preservatives is emerging, and many people feel the necessity of natural preservatives. However, studies on natural preservatives that are superior in safety and economy continue to be made, but in reality, they are expensive, In addition, there is a limitation in application to practical products because of the problem of lowering of safety such as discoloration and breaking when used at a high capacity.
On the other hand, raspberry ketone is 4- (4-hydroxyphenyl) -2-butanone and / or p-hydroxybenzyl acetone, and the raspberry ketone is one of fragrant components of raspberry. Raspberry ketone is derived from natural materials such as plants (e.g., bushes, fruit) of plants belonging to the rose and raspberry (e.g., raspberry), and can be obtained by chemical synthesis. Korean Patent Application No. 2005-7009507 As you can see, it is a substance that is considered to be safe enough to be used as a food. It is a substance that is mainly used for the improvement of obesity by promoting fat decomposition.
By using such a human-safe ingredient, it is expected that it will be usefully used in related fields when a composition having safe and satisfactory preservative effect is developed without using any chemical preservative such as parabens at all.
Accordingly, one aspect of the present invention is to provide a preservative composition that is harmless to humans and combines chemically stable components to exhibit sufficient preservative effect.
Another aspect of the present invention is to provide a cosmetic composition comprising the preservative composition.
According to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a preservative composition comprising raspberry ketone and a polyol.
The raspberry ketone and the polyol are preferably mixed in a weight ratio of 1: 2 to 2: 1.
The antiseptic composition is intended to prevent corruption by bacteria and yeast.
The bacterium and the yeast are selected from the group consisting of Eacherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphlyococcus aureus, Candida albicans, Aspergillus niger, niger, Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus megaterium, and Exophiala moniliae.
The polyol is selected from the group consisting of benzyl glycol, butoxy diglycol, diglycerin, butylene glycol, propylene glycol, propanediol, pentaerythritol, and phage-6 and phage-8. Or more.
According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a cosmetic composition comprising the above-described preservative composition of the present invention.
It is preferable that the cosmetic composition has at least one form selected from the group consisting of lotion, emulsion, cream, essence, gel, pack, cleansing cream, foam cleansing, foundation, mascara, eye shadow, eyeliner, and body wash.
The cosmetic composition preferably contains the preservative composition in an amount of 0.01 to 5% by weight based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition.
According to the present invention, it is possible to obtain a human-safe natural antiseptic composition and a cosmetic composition containing the same which have a wide range of antimicrobial activity and excellent antimicrobial activity. In particular, the antiseptic composition of the present invention can be used not only for bacteria, It exhibits an excellent preservative effect.
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described. However, the embodiments of the present invention can be modified into various other forms, and the scope of the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described below.
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY According to the present invention, there is provided a natural preservative composition which is safe for human body and which has a wide range of antimicrobial activity and antimicrobial spectrum.
More specifically, the preservative composition of the present invention comprises raspberry ketone and a polyol.
The Raspberry Ketone is a phenol compound having a structure of the following formula (1) and is also referred to as 4- ( p -hydroxyphenyl) -2-butanone (4- (HPB).
[Chemical Formula 1]
Such raspberry ketones can be obtained from natural products or can be obtained by synthesis. Raspberry ketones derived from natural products include, for example, extracts of plants of Rosaceae Rubus (hereinafter referred to as "raspberry extract"Quot;). As the extracting site of the plant for obtaining the raspberry extract, any or all of the plant may be used, and shrubs, fruit and the like are preferable. The extraction conditions such as the extraction solvent and the extraction temperature are not particularly limited.
For example, water, an organic solvent or a mixed solvent thereof. Specific examples thereof include water, methanol, ethanol, propanol, butanol, glycerin, acetone, ethyl acetate, hexane, chloroform, Glycol or a mixed solvent thereof.
The extraction is carried out according to a conventional extraction process and can be carried out at room temperature or by heating. Preferably 50 to 80% ethanol, at a temperature of 50 ° C to 70 ° C for 2 to 4 hours, but is not limited thereto, Can be extracted by any extraction method known in the art.
However, when heating at a temperature higher than the above temperature, the time is reduced but the active ingredient may be destroyed and lost. When heating at a temperature lower than the above temperature, the active ingredient of the mixture is not extracted completely. .
The extract obtained through the extraction step may be centrifuged or filtered to remove impurities by a conventional method, and the filtrate may be used after distillation of the organic solvent and drying or by dissolving in an appropriate solvent.
The preservative composition of the present invention may further combine a polyol with such a raspberry ketone component to obtain a preservative composition having an excellent preservative effect.
When the polyol added to the preservative composition of the present invention is added alone, it is used as a preservative. However, when the polyol is used in combination with the combination of the present invention, the skin irritation is reduced and sufficient preservative effect Lt; / RTI >
The polyol is selected from the group consisting of benzyl glycol, butoxy diglycol, diglycerin, butylene glycol, propylene glycol, propanediol, pentaerythritol, and phage-6 and phage-8. Or more.
In the present specification, at least one species means a mixture of one species and at least two species, and is interpreted to have the same meaning as at least one species.
Preferably, the raspberry ketone and the polyol are mixed in a weight ratio of 1: 2 to 2: 1. If the raspberry ketone is contained more than twice the weight of the polyol, a problem due to skin irritation may occur. If the polyol contains more than twice the weight of the raspberry ketone, the problem may arise that the repellency is decreased.
In particular, the preservative composition of the present invention can be used not only for bacteria but also for prevention of decay by yeast, and exhibits excellent preservative effect in both bacteria and yeast.
In particular, the bacterium and yeast are selected from the group consisting of Eacherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphlyococcus aureus, Candida albicans, Aspergillus niger, And at least one selected from the group consisting of Aspergillus niger, Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus megaterium and Exophiala moniliae.
According to the present invention, there is provided a cosmetic composition comprising the preservative composition.
The cosmetic composition preferably contains the preservative composition in an amount of 0.01 to 5 wt%, more preferably 0.05 to 2 wt%, based on the total cosmetic composition. When the preservative composition is less than 0.01% by weight, the repelling force can not be maintained for a long period of time. In particular, when the preservative composition is more than 5% by weight, the repelling force is not further increased , There is a problem that skin irritation occurs rather.
It is preferable that the cosmetic composition has at least one form selected from the group consisting of lotion, emulsion, cream, essence, gel, pack, cleansing cream, foam cleansing, foundation, mascara, eye shadow, eyeliner, and body wash.
Meanwhile, the pack may be a hydrogel mask pack or an essence mask pack formed of a hydrogel mask composition. The hydrogel mask composition that can be used herein may be prepared as follows, but is not limited thereto.
First, a solution obtained by dissolving a gelated polymer in a polyhydric alcohol and dissolving a preservative composition in a polyhydric alcohol is mixed with the solution, and then the mixture is heated to a temperature of 45 to 95 ° C. to prepare a gel solution. Other active ingredients such as skin active ingredients, fragrances, surfactants, and the like are added to produce a hydrogel composition in a flow state. The thus-prepared hydrogel composition can be produced in the form of a sheet or a patch and applied to the skin.
The preservative composition may be directly added to the dissolved gelled polymer solution, or may be added after mixing with the skin active ingredient, surfactant, etc., if necessary.
The gelling agent that may be added to the hydrogel composition may be carrageenan, locust bean gum, konjac, agar, sodium alginic acid, gellan, galactomannan, glucocomannan, or guar gum. The gelling agent may be a polyhydric alcohol And most preferably, glycerin can be used.
