FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a welding auxiliary apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a sectional view of a welding auxiliary apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention.

Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, the welding assisting apparatus 100 includes a body 110, a gas supply pipe 120, and a fixing portion 130.

The body 110 may have a hollow hole H1. Accordingly, the body 110 may include a first opening D1, which is one side of the hollow hole H1, and a second opening D2, which is one side of the first opening D1. The tip 11 of the EGW (Electro Gas Welding) torch can be inserted through the first opening D1 and the welding wire of the EGW torch can be exposed through the second opening D2.

1 and 2 show a body 110 having a cylindrical shape, but the shape is not limited. However, it is preferable that the length of the body 110 is sufficiently long such that the tip 11 of the EGW exclusive torch inserted into the first opening D1 does not penetrate the second opening surface.

The body 110 may have a gas injection hole H2 for connecting the outside of the body 110 to the hollow hole H1. The gas supply pipe 120 is connected to the gas injection hole H2 through which the arc protection gas can be supplied through the gas supply pipe 120 to the hollow hole H1. The arc protecting gas is a gas for preventing the arc from disappearing during the welding work using the EGW exclusive torch, for example, CO 2 gas may be included in the arc protecting gas.

The gas supply pipe 120 may be integrally formed with the body 110 or may be separately provided and connected to the body 110.

As described above, the tip 11 of the EGW dedicated torch is inserted into the first opening D1, and the tip 11 is connected to the wire guide 10 of the EGW dedicated torch. Thus, at least a part of the wire guide 10 is inserted into the first opening D1. Then, the wire guide 10 is inserted into the first opening D1, and the welding between the EGW dedicated torch and the welding assisting device 100 is performed. Therefore, it is preferable that the cross section of the first opening D1 is formed to be the same as or similar to the cross section of the wire guide 10 of the exclusive EGW torch.

Fig. 3 is a view showing the relationship between the first opening of the welding assisting device and the wire guide of the EGW dedicated torch according to the embodiment of the present invention, in which the cross section S1 of the first opening D1, And a cross section S2 is shown.

The shape of the first opening D1 may be a square as the shape of the wire guide 10 is square and the end face S1 of the first opening D1 and the end face S2 of the wire guide 10 are the same Or similar.

1 and 2, the first opening D1 may be formed with a gas leakage preventing portion 111 for protecting the wire guide 10 from leakage of the arc protecting gas. The gas leakage preventing portion 111 may be an elastic material such as rubber and a heat resistant material that is not deformed by heat generated in the wire guide 10. [ The gas leakage preventing portion 111 prevents the arc protecting gas introduced into the hollow hole H1 of the body 110 from flowing out to the first opening D1.

The fixing part 130 serves to fix the wire guide 10 of the EGW exclusive torch to the body 110. [ The fixing part 130 may include a threaded rod 131 and a handle 132. A thread may be formed on the surface of the threaded rod 131, and a thread may be formed on the body 110 correspondingly. When the user rotates the handle 132, the threaded rod 131 may be inserted into the body 110 or discharged to the outside.

After inserting the dedicated EGW torch into the hollow hole H1 of the body 110, the user rotates the handle 132 to insert the threaded rod 131 into the body 110, 10 can be fixed to the body 110.

FIG. 4 is a view showing that a welding assisting device according to an embodiment of the present invention is installed in a dedicated torch for EGW.

4, the user inserts into the hollow hole H1 of the welding assist device 100 of the tip 11 of the EGW exclusive torch 20 and attaches the welding assist device 100 using the fixing part 130. [ Can be fixed to the EGW dedicated torch (20).

Since the welding assisting device 100 for supplying the arc protecting gas is installed at the end of the EGW dedicated torch 20, the user can perform the welding operation just like using the FCAW welding machine.

5 is a view showing the operation of the welding assisting apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 5, a user may perform a welding operation with the welding assist device 100 installed on the EGW dedicated torch 20.

Arc welding is performed while the welding wire 30 discharged from the tip 11 contacts the object 40 to be welded. At this time, the arc protecting gas G introduced through the gas supply pipe 120 descends along the hollow hole H1 and is discharged through the second opening D2. The generation of the slag in the periphery of the welding wire 30 due to the discharge of the arc protecting gas G can be prevented.

FIG. 6 is a view showing a welding auxiliary device according to another embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 7 is a view showing that the length of the welding auxiliary device according to another embodiment of the present invention is adjusted.

Referring to FIG. 6, the welding assisting device 200 includes a body 210, a gas supply pipe 220, and a fixing portion 230. The gas supply pipe 220 and the fixing portion 230 are the same as or similar to the gas supply pipe 220 and the fixing portion 230 described above, and thus a detailed description thereof will be omitted.

The body 210 may have a hollow hole H3. Accordingly, the body 210 may include a first opening D3 which is one side of the hollow hole H3 and a second opening D4 which is the other side. The tip 11 of the EGW dedicated torch 20 is inserted through the first opening D3 and the welding wire 30 of the EGW dedicated torch 20 is exposed through the second opening D4 .

On the other hand, the tip 11 of the EGW dedicated torch 20 may have different lengths. Accordingly, when the body 210 of the welding assisting device 200 is short, the tip 11 may penetrate the second opening surface, and the tip 11 may be exposed to the outside of the body 210. In this case, slag may be generated because the gas for arc protection is not concentrated in the welded portion.

Accordingly, the length of the body 210 of the welding assisting device 200 according to another embodiment of the present invention can be adjusted in the longitudinal direction of the tip 11. [ To this end, the body 210 may include an auxiliary body 240.

The auxiliary body 240 has a hollow cylindrical shape and can move in the longitudinal direction of the body 210. As the auxiliary body 240 moves in the longitudinal direction of the body 210, the overall length of the body 210 is adjusted.

6 and 7 show that the two divided bodies 241 and 242 overlap each other to constitute the auxiliary body 240. [ The auxiliary body 240 is composed of the plurality of divided bodies 241 and 242, so that the flexible body 210 can be adjusted in length.

While the present invention has been described in connection with what is presently considered to be the most practical and preferred embodiment, it is evident that many alternatives, modifications, and variations will be apparent to those skilled in the art. It will be understood. It is therefore to be understood that the above-described embodiments are illustrative in all aspects and not restrictive.
