Abstract
A welding auxiliary device is provided. The welding assist device includes a hollow hole, a tip of a torch dedicated for EGW (Electro Gas Welding) is inserted through a first opening of the hollow hole, and a welding wire of the EGW exclusive torch is exposed through a second opening of the hollow hole And a gas supply pipe connected to the gas injection hole formed in the body and supplying arc protection gas to the hollow hole.
Description
The present invention relates to a welding auxiliary device.
EGW (Electro Gas Welding) enables multiple multi-layer welding in vertical or horizontal butt welding to be performed with only one welding. Therefore, special equipment is applied to increase the welding productivity of the plate.
Recently, a lot of methods have been developed for the horizontal part. However, when EGW is applied to the welding of the horizontal portion, additional work may occur because the melt can flow down by gravity.

A problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a welding auxiliary device.
The tasks of the present invention are not limited to the tasks mentioned above, and other tasks not mentioned may be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the following description.
In order to achieve the above object, a welding assist apparatus of the present invention has a hollow hole, a tip of a torch dedicated for EGW (Electro Gas Welding) is inserted through a first opening of the hollow hole, A body through which the welding wire of the EGW exclusive torch is exposed through the second opening of the hole, and a gas supply pipe connected to the gas injection hole formed in the body and supplying the arc protection gas to the hollow hole.
The cross section of the first opening is the same as or similar to the cross section of the wire guide of the EGW exclusive torch.
The first opening is formed with a gas leakage preventing portion that covers the wire guide and prevents leakage of the arc protecting gas.
And a fixing unit fixing the wire guide of the EGW exclusive torch to the body.
The length of the body is adjusted in the longitudinal direction of the tip.
