Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an antibacterial raw material containing an island giraffe extract, and more particularly, to an antibacterial raw material comprising a mixture of at least one selected from the group consisting of an island giraffe extract, an yucca extract, a vitamin B1 lauryl sulfate, a sorbic acid and a benzoic acid. will be.
The present invention is characterized in that it is added to daily necessities such as wipes, cosmetics, diapers, menstrual supplies, oral tissues, mouthwashes, shampoos, soaps, shower gels and the like, which are antibacterial raw materials composed of foods and food additives which are harmless to humans, .
In everyday life, microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi are not only very abundant but also soil, atmospheric, and water. Seawater, etc., and it is possible to grow and reproduce at any time if the growth conditions are right. Therefore, microbial damage to human diseases caused by microorganisms, food spoilage, housing, clothing, and industrial products is serious .
Above all, foods, household goods, medicines and cosmetics are necessary to use preservatives in order to prevent microbial spoilage and to preserve the product for a long time. Preservative is a medicine that prevents the decay of a material. It is a preservative to prevent the vegetable organic material from decaying due to the action of microorganisms, and a preservative is added to preserve it for the purpose of conservation. Preservatives that prevent microbial decay are essential for long-term quality of products such as food, medicines and cosmetics.
Generally, in order to remove or suppress the occurrence of microorganisms propagating in diapers, wipes, sanitary articles, cosmetics, detergents, disinfectant products and the like, chloromethylisothiazolinone (CMIT), 3-iodo- 3-lodo-2-propynylbutylcarbamate (IPBC), polyhexamethylene guanidine (PHMG), polyhexamethylene biguanide (PHMB), 2- (2-ethoxy) ethoxyethyl guanidine chloride (PGH), alcohols, benzalkonium chloride And chemical antimicrobial agents are mainly used.
However, these chemical preservatives inhibit the growth of microorganisms and impart stability, but at the same time, they cause stimulation of the user's skin. For example, PHMG, PHMB, and PGH are known to cause harmful effects of guanidine-based chemicals and 3-iodo-2-propynyl butylcarbamate, which are the causative agents of acute lung injury syndrome caused by humectant cleaning agents, It is known that there is a strong toxicity problem.
Preservatives such as parabens, which are commonly used in cosmetics and medicines as a conventional preservative, are also known as skin allergies (Andrea Counti et al., 1997, 37; 35-36) and the possibility of environmental hormones (Edwin et al., Toxicology and Applied Pharmacology, 1998, 153: 12-19) and inducing resistant bacteria.
Due to these problems, studies on natural preservatives, which are excellent in safety and economy of products, have been continued. As a result, natural antimicrobial substances of microbial origin such as extracts of plant and plant origin such as spices, essential oils and herbal medicines and bacteriocins have been reported
1989, 52(11):771-778)(Bizri, JN등, J.Food Science, 1994,59(1), 130-135). Alkaloids, flavonoids, phytoalexins, and antimicrobial peptides are known as natural antimicrobial substances. Antimicrobial activity of organic acids and fatty acids is also known. Most of these are presumed to be the main mechanism by the effect of acid pH and chelate (E1-shenawa, MA et al., J. Food Protec. 1989, 52 (11): 771-778) (Bizri, JN et al. , J. Food Science, 1994, 59 (1), 130-135). However, most of the reported natural antimicrobial substances have not been commercialized because of color, pH drop, narrow antimicrobial spectrum, problem of form, and the like. Hinokitiol, Hinokitiol extract, Megnonol, Extracts, and complex gold extracts.

In general, vitamin B1 lauryl sulfate has antifungal activity by inhibiting growth by attaching to the mycelial cell wall of fungi.
(Sorbic acid)
Sorbic acid (C 6 H 8 O 2 ) is a colorless or white crystal and crystalline powder that is insoluble in water and soluble in alcohol, glacial acetic acid, acetone, ether and propylene glycol. It is relatively stable to heat or light but it can sublimate by heating and drying.
Sorbic acid inhibits growth of microorganisms such as filamentous fungi, yeast, and aerobic bacteria, but the sterilizing power may be weak. In addition, since the antimicrobial effect increases as the pH is acidic, it is preferable to use it at pH 6.0 or less.
(Benzoic acid)

In the propylene glycol graph of FIG. 2 (b), the same results as those of FIG. 2 (a) can be confirmed by a flotation test of cosmetics containing the antibacterial raw material according to Example 16.
The Methylparaben graph of FIG. 2 (c) shows that the microbial counts gradually decreased over the inoculation days of 99.84% by weight of the basic cosmetic formulation composition and 0.16% by weight of the conventional chemical preservative, Methylparaben, 0 < / RTI >
As shown in Fig. 2, the number of microorganisms decreased to Log 0 as a result of the inoculation day 7 of each of the cosmetic products containing the antibacterial raw material composed of the island giraffe extract and the food additive, and the killing rate of 100% The excellent anti-buoyancy of cosmetics containing raw materials can be found.
Example 3. Patch test of antibacterial raw material
30 healthy adults consisting of 17 female and 13 male subjects were tested and the degree of skin irritation was confirmed by the test of the antimicrobial raw material containing the extract of the present invention and the food additive.
Saline solutions containing 5% by weight of the antibacterial raw materials of Examples 15 to 18 were prepared, respectively, and 10 μl of the saline solution was absorbed to a paper disk. As shown in Table 3 above, the results of the test for the test pieces of 30 test subjects were confirmed. As a result, it was confirmed that the antibacterial raw materials of Examples 15 to 18 were not skin irritant. In addition, the mean response was calculated by the following formula.
As shown in Table 3, the average skin response was calculated to be 0.0 and the average skin response value was 0 because the skin was not reacted with no flare from the subject. At this time, the above criteria for determining the average skin reactivity can be judged as unstimulated when the average skin reactivity value is 0.0 to 0.9, mild stimulation when 1.0 to 2.9, moderate stimulation when 3.0 to 4.9, and strong stimulus when it is 5.0 or more. Therefore, by confirming that the antibacterial raw material of the present invention is within the non-stimulated range, it can be confirmed that the antibacterial raw material is safe for human body.
