Abstract

PURPOSE: An ash tray of a solid fuel boiler is provided to enable a re-handling work to be simply practiced by simultaneously handling ash falling to the bottom of a combustion chamber and the lower heat recovering chamber of a heat exchange unit. CONSTITUTION: An ash tray(5) of a solid fuel boiler comprises a heat exchange unit, heat recovering chambers(7,8), a plurality of rows of downward and upward exhaust pipes(9,9a), and a blocking plate(10). The heat recovering chambers are formed on the lower and upper ends of the heat exchange unit. A partition(7a) is formed on the central part of an upper heat recovering chamber and a heat inlet(7b) is formed in the partition toward the combustion chamber. The downward exhaust pipes are mounted between the top of the heat inlet and a lower heat recovering unit in a length direction.
