Claims (10)
- 폴리카보네이트계 수지 및 스티렌계 수지를 함유한 고분자 필름을 연신하여 얻어진 광학 필름으로서,당해 광학 필름은, 광탄성 계수가 2.0×10-11 ~ 6.0×10-11㎡/N 이고,필름면 내의 굴절률이 최대가 되는 방향을 X축, X축에 수직인 방향을 Y축, 필름의 두께 방향을 Z축으로 하고, 각각 축 방향의 굴절률을 nx1, ny1, nz1 로 하고, 필름 두께를 d1(nm) 로 했을 경우에,Nz=(nx1-nz1)/(nx1-ny1) 로 표시되는 Nz 계수가, Nz≤0.9,또한, 정면 위상차 (Re)=(nx1-ny1)×d1 이 Re≥80nm,을 만족시키도록 삼차원 굴절률이 제어되어 있는 광학 필름 (1) 과,필름면 내의 굴절률이 최대가 되는 방향을 X축, X축에 수직인 방향을 Y축, 필름의 두께 방향을 Z축으로 하고, 각각 축 방향의 굴절률을 nx2, ny2, nz2 로 했을 경우에, nx2>ny2≒nz2 를 만족시키는 광학적으로 정의 일축성을 나타내는 광학 필름 (2) 과,광학적으로 부의 일축성을 나타내는 재료에 의해 형성되고, 당해 재료가 경사 배향되어 있는 부위를 포함한 광학 필름 (3) 이 적층되어 있는 적층 광학 필름이,액정 셀의 양측에, 편광판과 함께, 실장되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 광학 필름 (1) 의 재료인, 스티렌계 수지의 중량 평균 분자량이 2만 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 광학 필름 (1) 의 유리 전이 온도가 110 ~ 180℃ 의 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 광학 필름 (2) 이, 노르보르넨계 폴리머를 함유한 고분자 필름을 연신하여 얻어진 광학 필름인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 광학 필름 (2) 이, 폴리카보네이트계 수지 및 스티렌계 수지를 함유한 고분자 필름을 연신하여 얻어진 광학 필름으로서,당해 광학 필름은, 광탄성 계수 0.5×10-11 ~ 6.0×10-11㎡/N 인 것을 특징으 로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 광학 필름 (3) 을 형성하는, 광학적으로 부의 일축성을 나타내는 재료가 디스코틱 액정 화합물인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 광학 필름 (3) 을 형성하는, 광학적으로 부의 일축성을 나타내는 재료는, 그 평균 광축과 상기 광학 필름 (3) 의 법선 방향으로 이루는 경사 각도가, 5˚ ~ 50˚ 의 범위에서 경사 배향되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 적층 광학 필름은, 광학적으로 정의 일축성을 나타내는 광학 필름 (2) 과 광학적으로 부의 일축성을 나타내는 재료를 경사 배향되어 있는 부위를 포함한 광학 필름 (3) 사이에, 삼차원 굴절률을 제어한 광학 필름 (1) 이 배치되어 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 적층 광학 필름은, 광학 필름 (3) 측을 액정 셀 측에 배치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 9 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 적층 광학 필름은, 편광판보다 액정 셀 측이 되도록 배치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
