Claims (5)
- 한 프레임을 다수의 서브 프레임으로 나누고 광원을 순차구동시켜 화상을 표시하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법에 있어서,상기 다수의 서브 프레임 중 제 1 및 제 2 서브 프레임 각각에 해당하는 데이터를 로딩하는 어드레싱 단계;상기 제 1 및 제 2 서브 프레임 각각에 해당하는 액정의 반응 시간을 확보해주는 웨이팅 단계;상기 제 1 및 제 2 서브 프레임 각각에 해당하는 광을 발하는 발광 단계;를 포함하며,상기 제 1 서브 프레임의 발광 단계는 상기 제 2 서브 프레임의 어드레싱 단계의 일정시간까지 지속하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 서브 프레임의 발광 단계는 상기 각 서브 프레임에서 발생하는 혼색 비율이 최소가 되는 시점까지 지속하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 및 제 2 서브 프레임은 각각 적색 서브 프레임, 녹색 서브 프레 임, 및 청색 서브 프레임 중 하나인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구동 방법.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 적색 서브 프레임은 적색 발광 다이오드를 주 광원으로 발광하고, 녹색 서브 프레임은 녹색 발광 다이오드를 주 광원으로 하며, 청색 서브 프레임은 청색 발광 다이오드를 주 광원으로 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 적색 발광 다이오드, 녹색 발광 다이오드, 및 청색 발광 다이오드는 순차적으로 점멸되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구동방법.
