Claims (12)
- 전극간에 구동 전류 밀도에 따른 색도의 백색을 발광하는 유기 일렉트로루미네선스층을 갖는 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 소자와,상기 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 소자를 전류로 구동하고, 색도 조정 입력에 따라서, 상기 구동 전류의 제어와 단위 시간당 전류 구동 시간의 제어를 실시하는 구동 유닛을 가지고,상기 구동 유닛은, 제 1 색도 조정 입력에 대하여 상기 구동 전류를 제 1 전류값으로, 상기 전류 구동 시간을 제 1 시간으로 각각 제어하고, 제 2 색도 조정에 대하여 상기 구동 전류를 상기 제 1 전류값보다 큰 제 2 전류값으로, 상기 전류 구동 시간을 상기 제 1 시간보다 짧은 제 2 시간으로 각각 제어하는, 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 장치.
- 전극간에 구동 전류 밀도에 따른 색도의 백색을 발광하는 유기 일렉트로루미네선스층을 갖는 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 소자와,상기 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 소자를 소정의 구동 전압으로 구동하고, 색도 조정 입력에 따라서, 상기 구동 전압의 제어와 단위 시간당의 전압 구동 시간의 제어를 실시하는 구동 유닛을 가지고,상기 구동 유닛은 제 1 색도 조정 입력에 대하여, 상기 구동 전류를 제 1 전류값으로, 상기 전압 구동 시간을 제 1 시간으로 각각 제어하고, 제 2 색도 조정에 대하여, 상기 구동 전류를 상기 제 1 전류값보다 큰 제 2 전류값으로, 상기 전압 구동 시간을 상기 제 1 시간보다 짧은 제 2 시간으로 각각 제어하는, 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 유기 일렉트로루미네선스층은 백색 발광을 가능하게 하는 복수의 발광색으로 발광하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 유기 일렉트로루미네선스층은 적색과 청색과 녹색을 동시에 발광하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 유기 일렉트로루미네선스층은 적색 발광층과, 청색 발광층과, 녹색 발광층을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 유기 일렉트로루미네선스층은 적색 발광층과, 청색 및 녹색 발광층을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 유기 일렉트로루미네선스층은 적색 및 청색 발광층과, 녹색 발광층을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 유기 일렉트로루미네선스층은 적색 및 녹색 발광층과, 청색 발광층을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 장치.
- 제 4 항 내지 제 8 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 유기 일렉트로루미네선스층은 전극에 접하여 형성된 정공 수송층, 전자 수송층을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 구동 유닛은 전류원과, 상기 전류원을 상기 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 소자에 접속하는 구동 스위치와, 상기 전류원의 전류값을 상기 색도 조정 입력에 따라 제어하는 전류 제어 회로와, 상기 구동 스위치의 도통 시간을 상기 색도 조정 입력에 따라 제어하는 구동 시간 제어 회로를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 구동 유닛은 전압원과, 상기 전압원을 상기 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 소자에 접속하는 구동 스위치와, 상기 전압원의 전압값을 상기 색도 조정 입력에 따라 제어하는 전압 제어 회로와, 상기 구동 스위치의 도통 시간을 상기 색도 조정 입력에 따라 제어하는 구동 시간 제어 회로를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 장치.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 8 항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 장치를 백라이트 수단으로서 가지고, 또한, 상기 유기 일렉트로루미네선스 장치 위에 액정층을 갖는, 액정 표시 장치.
