Claims (5)
- 원통형 관형 클래딩(2), 상기 클래딩(2)의 축 방향(7)으로 관형 클래딩(2) 내부에서 다른 팰릿(3)의 상부상에 적층된 핵연료 팰릿들(3)의 컬럼, 봉(1)이 원자로 내부의 작업 위치에 배열될 때 연료봉(1)의 하부 부분에 배열된 봉(1)의 클래딩(2)의 제 1 축방향 단부의 기밀식 폐쇄를 위한 제 1 플러그(4, 10), 및 클래딩(2)의 제 2 축방향 단부의 기밀식 폐쇄를 위한 제 2 플러그(5)를 포함하고, 봉(1)의 클래딩(2)은 수직한 축(7)을 갖고, 상기 연료 팰릿들(3)의 컬럼은 제 1 하부 단부를 통하여 하부 플러그라 지칭되는 제 1 플러그(4, 10)의 내부 부분(4a, 10a)상에 놓이며, 연료 팰릿(3)의 컬럼의 제 2 상부 축방향 단부와 상부 플러그라 지칭되는 제 2 플러그(5)의 내부 부분의 단부 사이에 개재된 압축 스프링(8)에 의해 관형 클래딩(2) 내부에 보유되는, 물에 의해 냉각되는 원자로용 연료봉에 있어서,상기 관형 클래딩(2)의 내부에 결합된 하부 플러그(10)의 내부 부분(10a)은, 축방향(7) 및 클래딩(2)의 제 1 단부로부터 제 2 단부를 향하는 방향으로, 관형 클래딩(2)의 내경과 대체로 동일한 직경을 갖는 제 1 원통형 부분(11)과, 관형 클래딩(2)의 내경보다 작은 직경을 갖는 제 2 원통형 부분(12), 및 관형 클래딩(2)의 내경보다 작은 직경을 갖고 제 3 원통형 부분(13)의 측방향 외부면과 관형 클래딩(2)의 내부면 사이에 가스의 통과를 위한 반경 방향 간극 및 연료 팰릿(3)의 컬럼의 제 1 단부가 놓이는 대체로 평평한 단부면(14)을 유지하도록 제 2 원통형 부 분(12)의 직경보다 큰 직경을 갖는 제 3 원통형 부분(13)을 연속적으로 포함하여, 가스의 팽창을 위한 환형 공간(16)이 하부 플러그(10)의 내부 부분(10a)의 제 2 부분(12)의 외부면과 클래딩(2)의 내부면 사이에 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 연료봉.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 연료봉(1)의 하부 플러그(10)의 내부 부분(10a)의 제 3 원통형 부분(13)은, 제 3 원통형 부분(13)의 측방향 외부면과 관형 클래딩(2)의 내부면 사이에, 1/10 내지 2/10 mm 사이의 조립 및 가스 통로를 위한 반경 방향 간극(15)이 남아있도록 하는 직경을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 연료봉.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 하부 플러그(10)의 내부 부분(10a)의 제 2 원통형 부분(12)은, 관형 클래딩(2)의 내경의 40% 내지 60% 사이의 직경 및 상기 관형 클래딩(2)의 내경의 8 내지 10배의 축방향으로의 길이를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 연료봉.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 연료 팰릿들의 컬럼의 연료 팰릿들(3)의 적어도 일부는, 산화 플루토늄 또는 우라늄과 플루토늄의 혼합 산화물을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 연료봉.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 4 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 축방향으로 연장하는 제 2 원통형 부분(12)의 적어도 일 영역에는, 외경이 조립 간극에 의해 감소되는 관형 클래딩의 내경과 대체로 동일한 제 2 원통형 부분의 직경 방향으로 넓어진 원통형 부분에 의해 구성되는 적어도 하나의 크로스 부재(17)를 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 연료봉.
