Description
Claims (5)
- 대향 배치되는 한쌍의 제 1 및 제 2 기판;상기 제 1 기판 상에 매트릭스 모양으로 배치된 신호선 및 주사선에 의해 구획되는 화소 내에 형성된 반사부와 투과부;상기 제 1 및 제 2 기판 간에 배치된 유전율 이방성이 부(負)인 액정층;상기 제 1 및 제 2 기판 상에 적층된 수직 배향 처리를 실시한 배향막; 및상기 제 1 및 제 2 기판의 적어도 한쪽에 배치되고, 액정 분자의 경사 방향을 규제하는 배향 규제부를 구비하고,상기 액정층에 전계를 인가하지 않은 때에는 액정 분자가 수직 배열하고, 상기 액정층에 전계를 인가한 때에는 상기 배향 규제부에 의해 규제된 방향으로 액정 분자가 기울어져서 수평으로 배열하고,상기 반사부의 제 1 기판에 보조 용량 전극을 이용하여 보조 용량이 형성되며,상기 배향 규제부가 상기 반사부의 제 2 기판상에 형성되고, 상기 투과부의 제 1 기판상에 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 반투과형 액정 표시 패널.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 투과부의 제 1 기판상에 형성되는 상기 배향 규제부는, 상기 투과부의 중심부에 형성된 슬릿으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 반투과형 액정 표시 패 널.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 배향 규제부는, 적어도 하나의 분기 부분을 가지는 슬릿 또는 돌기로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 반투과형 액정 표시 패널.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 투과부의 상기 배향 규제부는, 제 1 기판상의 화소 전극에 형성된 슬릿이며, 상기 투과부의 주변에 평면으로 본 경우에 상기 신호선과 겹쳐지는 돌기를 배치한 것을 특징으로 하는 반투과형의 액정 표시 패널.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 반사부와 상기 투과부에 있어서, 액정층의 두께가 다른 것을 특징으로 하는 반투과형의 액정 표시 패널.
