Abstract
본 발명은 항균제가 코팅된 어망에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 가두리 양식용 어망에 따개비 또는 이끼 등의 해조류가 부착되어 양식장을 부영양화 시키거나 어망을 훼손하는 것을 방지하기 위하여 PVC와 일정량의 항균제가 함께 코팅되어 형성된 어망에 관한 것이다.
본 발명에 따르면, PVC와 항균제가 일정 비율로 혼합된 혼합액이 원사에 함침되어 코팅된 어망이 제공된다.
Description
본 발명은 항균제가 코팅된 어망에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 가두리 양식용 어망에 따개비 또는 이끼 등의 해조류가 부착되어 양식장을 부영양화 시키거나 어망을 훼손하는 것을 방지하기 위하여 PVC와 일정량의 항균제가 함께 코팅되어 형성된 어망에 관한 것이다.
가두리 양식장에 설치되어 사용되는 어망은 항상 해수 속에 있기 때문에 따개비 또는 이끼 등의 해조류가 부착되어 생육하게 된다.
그러나 이와 같이 어망에 부착된 생물들은 양식장을 부영양화시킴으로써 적조의 발생과 같은 심각한 피해를 주고, 어망의 내구 수명을 급격히 단축시키는 문제점이 있다.
본 발명의 목적은 상기와 같은 종래의 문제점을 야기시키는 따개비 또는 이끼 등의 해조류가 어망에 부착되지 못하도록 PVC와 항균제가 일정비율로 혼합되어 코팅된 어망을 제공함에 있다.
본 발명은 어망의 원사에 PVC와 항균제가 일정 비율로 혼합되어 코팅된 것을 특징으로 한다.
상기의 항균제는 그 설징상 항균력이 있으면 어떠한 것이라도 가능하고, 본 발명은 징크 피리티온(Zinc Pyrithione)이 그 일실시예이다. 따라서 상기의 징크 피리티온을 사용한 코팅의 경우는 PVC 90~98중량％와 징크 피리티온 2~10중량％가 혼합되어, 어망을 구성하는 원사에 코팅됨에 특징이 있다.
상기의 어망은 원사에 의해 망으로 엮어지거나 짜여진 것으로, 엮어지거나 짜여진 크기에 따라 코의 크기가 결정되는데, 본 발명은 코의 크기가 어떠하더라도 모두 적용이 가능하다.
그리고 상기와 같은 PVC와 항균제의 혼합비율은 항균제의 항균력과 사용되는 각각의 항균제의 특성에 따라 조절될 수 있음은 당연하다.
상기의 징크 피리티온은 화학식이 C10H8N2O2S2Zn이고, 화학명은 Zinc salt of 2-mercaptopyridine-N-oxide 또는 Zinc-bis-(2-pyridine-thiol-1-oxide) 또는 ZPT으로서, 살상 스펙트럼이 넓은 항균제이다.
상기와 같이 코팅된 어망은 150~200℃의 가열로에서 PVC와 징크 피리티온의 혼합물에 원사가 약 5분 동안 완전히 침지시킨 후 거져내고, 이를 냉각시켜 제조된다.
이와 같은 과정을 통하여 어망은 PVC로 견고히 코팅됨과 동시에 항균제가 함유되게 된다.
상기의 코팅 단계에서 열안정제 또는 PVC 안정제를 추가하여 PVC의 열변형을 줄이고, 원사와 PVC의 응찰력을 증대시킬 수도 있는데, 이 때의 열안정제 또는 PVC 안정제는 상품명으로서의 BC330U(제조원 단석산업)가 그 일실시예이다.
열안정제 또는 PVC 안정제의 함량은 0.5~1.5중량％이고, 열안정제 또는 PVC 안정제의 다양한 종류에 따라 그 범위는 가변적임은 당연하다. 즉, 일실시예로서의 BC330U를 사용하는 경우는 약 1중량％만 사용하여도 된다.
상기와 같이 어망의 원사가 항균제가 포함된 PVC에 의해 코팅됨으로써, 따개비 또는 이끼 등의 해조류가 부착됨이 방지되고, 부착되더라도 그 생장이 억제되거나 사멸됨으로써, 양식장의 환경이 개선되고, 어망의 내구수명이 증대된다.
이와 같이 본 발명은 따개비 또는 이끼 등의 해조류가 어망에 부착되어 생장하는 것을 방지하여, 양식장을 황폐화 시키는 부영양화의 발생을 줄이고, 어망의 내구수명을 증대시키는 효과가 있다.
Claims (2)
- PVC와 항균제가 일정 비율로 혼합된 혼합액이 원사에 함침되어 코팅됨을 특징으로 하는 항균제가 코팅된 어망.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 항균제는 징크 피리티온이고, 이 때의 PVC와의 혼합비율은 PVC 90~98중량％와 징크 피리티온 2~10중량％인 항균제가 코팅된 어망.
